Do you have any idea how many VERY WEALTHY men express interest in me?

If you think that most women (and I am not denying that there aren't many) will hang with you purely because of your job and money then again, as I said before, perhaps you oughtta take a good long look in the mirror.

My time is extremely precious. I don't have a lot of it for me so I try to choose very wisely when it comes to the company I keep. I am waaaaay past the "dating just so that I am not home alone" post-divorce phase. If a man isn't many things (wealthy need not be one of them, all I require is financially secure) then I would rather stay home alone and sleep.

PS - whizkid just what makes you think that just because a guy is wealthy that this automatically means he is generous?

I am just hoping to make some of these guys see that there are all kinds of women out there, just like there are all kinds of men, not just the gold diggers that alot of the men on this board seem to run into. I'm sure many won't believe me but I would be and have been so bored with a guy who has only a nice face and bod and or money and nothing more, but it sure seems to me like that's all that matters to alot of men when it comes to women.

Jetisin, I appreciate your sentiments, but you don't have to feel badly for me. My situation has made me who I am today and I kinda like me!

But my personal situation has everything to do with THIS thread. For someone to say that I am a lazy money-hungry golddigger (as Talon implied that I am and MOST WOMEN ARE LIKE ME SPECIFICALLY) is nonsense. "Dancers are all about the money..." And a waitress for example would not be?

I just wanted to point out that everything is NOT what bitter men paint it to be. Wasn't it Talonracer who said that MOST women out there are like Bikinimom... BEWARE! Perhaps it isn't about "most women" at all. Perhaps it is more about "most men"... or perhaps more about the choices that "those men" make when seeking the attention of particular women.

What should men nowadays beware of? An honest, hard-working, intelligent female that FINALLY realizes her worth? That makes sense.

And you are VERY incorrect when you changed my last statement around. I chose my first husband only looking at his POTENTIAL to earn. He was intelligent and driven. Now when I look at a perspective partner he will still be intelligent and driven but will already be financially secure. So for this men should beware?
