Spironolactone topically is a great androgen blocker at the scalp. It will help block all adrogens and not just DHT.

Don't buy Dr. Lee's new 5% spiro cream, that doesn't smell, make your own. His is way too much$$

Get some Dermovan cream from msdepot.com ( go to health point products.) 16 oz for under $20!
Then go to dru-online.com and buy some spironolactone tabs (Aldactone) or ask your doc to give you a prescription.

Crush up the pills, or grind them up in a small coffee grinder, and mix with the cream. Do only a couple oz at a time. Keep in frige.

Take 20ml's of the cream and mix in 100mg's worth of crushed pills. The powdered pills will just melt away in the cream. This makes 3% spiro cream. Many good studies to say that 2% is enough. IT DOES NOT SMELL.

Use lightly on scalp...rub it in.. before bed or even in the morning as well. (not too much of a wet look, really)

Aw damn man, I was using 300mg/20ml thinking I was getting a 9% cream but I was only getting a 1.5 %...no wonder I lost some hair

Im bumping this up for two reasons...

I'm gonna get the spiro tabs to crush up and put in the cream.. my question is the Dermovan cream.. are there active ingrediants in it? What is it for by itself.. its called vanishing cream?

Also, where can I get nizoral shampoo online?

Realgains is a great bro but in this case I cannot say this worked effectively for me at all, even at a higher dosage.... The premade stuff from nizoral man did seem to so its hard to say what was going on. But I used the dermovan and spironolactone tabs.. who knows.
