Three degrees with 20 mph wind. When I got into the shower my peenar had gone mangina.

It was unfortunate.

25 here, nice and comfy. I've got the pumpkin spice candle burning and I'm about to throw some egg whites on the stove.

I just had some oats and cottage cheese (not together) and am sitting here in a hoody and sweat pants. Got it at 65 degrees, but I can't get warm. Maybe the pet human's cold is getting me? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU

7 degrees here and the wind is blowing about 20 mph. Reminds me of some of the soriority bitches I used to try and talk to in college.

Can someone check the weather for Ft Lauderdale... it's feeling kind of warm here.

Was -22 here last night..haven't checked today but it's still cold as fuck.

I was gonna say....

I had to drive my girl to court (divorce) cause her car isn't so good in the snow. It was out in Adams county, so windy as fugg. I took me 2 hours to thaw my toes when I got home.

Did the silicone in your tits freeze?

I just shoveled/snowblowed/shoveled roof/deck for the 2nd time in 20 hours,80th time in past month, took apart a crib, gotta go food shopping, wife plugged the toilet with some tampon crap

Yeah, you guys got snowpwned.

We only got 10-12" here, but this state's in bankruptsy, so they don't really have many plows out.

I heard Boston is/will continue to get snowpwned, too.

So put on another layer of clothes. Cold's easy to deal with; heat sucks.

THIS ^^^

I'd take the cold in a heartbeat, summer here in FL with a car with no AC was hell, and i mean that literally..... it's actually pretty hot here right now... feels almost 80....

Dallas is under a hard freeze... I have a BIG problem: We're in SoCal right now, and the Dallas house is in an area where there is 2" of ice on the ground, and the city water pipes are frozen solid (Very unusual!!!). My brother-in-law lives about 5 miles south, and can't get up to the house to check it because he's iced in, and we think the furnace might be turned OFF, in stead of set to 50, which we normally do to prevent busted pipes. My mother-in-law (who also lives in Dallas), is out here with us visiting, and there's nobody to go check. So I called a friend with the Dallas P.D. and he said he would go shut the water off outside the house last night....... NO luck! The valve is frozen. So this means that when the city pipes thaw, and if our furnace IS off, the pipes in the house may have burst and will flood. Oh well, at least we didn't re-carpet yet :worried: .

I just had to repair the ceilings in the house from roof damage & leaks due to a hail storm last year... Maybe I need to just get a contractors' license for drywall work.... Crap!

Florida is where people go to die

holy crap...how shallow are the city mains??? we get mains popping here every so often but theyre usually super old when they do and in shitty areas where theyre never maintained.

anyway to get someone into the house to put heat tape on everything?

I hate bundling up. Heat's plenty easy to deal with. AC, the beach, a cold glass of sweet tea....ahh I love the south, sundresses, and 60 degree weather in january.

I think the cold is better/hot is better argument is really a matter of personal tolerance levels. I don't sweat much because of heat, and when I do, I'm usually in a bathing suit on a boat or on the beach. On really really hot days I know the kinds of fabrics to wear, and I wear light colors and loose fitting clothes (think sundresses). Clothes that breath and don't absorb the heat of the sun. To me, the warmth of sun on my skin in the summer is something I'd never trade for anything.

On the flip side, while I will dive in the cold, ski in the cold, and do lots of other things in cold weather if I have no other options, cold in the every day environment is miserable to me. layers of clothes are uncomfortable. My feet don't get warm no matter how many socks I put on lol. I just have really low tolerance for it.

Oh man - I get this. Can we go somewhere and get rid of these layers of clothes (like all of them)?

CR. I don't deal with heat well; not as much now as when I was 215+lbs, though.

Acclimation plays a role as well. I grew up in the midwest, so the temp change of, e.g., a trip to FL, totally melts me.

I can't even imagine how fats deal with living in places like CA or FL. Eww.

HEY! What's with the new username?

:cow:

lol
Had log in issues. Not a formerly Prince thing....
Couldn't remember password, couldn't remember email. Tried to get around this, and made it worse:

--Ariel-- and -Ariel- log into same account, but both don't work now.
No biggie, a change would do me good.

Great to see you Samoth/T. Hope all is well with you and stefka.

Missouri has been a cold one 2. I'm not there now, but yeah parents said it's been the worst in over 20 years. Snow Ice wise, not cold though.
