And the way i see it, Protien from Chicken, Meat or Fish is twice as good as some powder.

Oh....by the way, 1 small can of tuna....40 grams protien, no carbs, and 5 grams of fat.

Cmon...FUCK THE POWDER!

What are you thinking, bars are good in a pinch, shakes are great between meals but they are all SUPPLEMENTS! They are used to SUPPLEMENT your diet of whole food. BBQ!!!

You can keep chicken in tuperware and eat it instead of a bar. If you properly plan your day.....you should not need any bars or shakes....unless you want them.

I just dont believe that some powder can be HALF as effective as real protien.

Can you blame me?
 
Like everyone else said, you can get all your protein from regular food. I buy a couple of those big bags of boneless chicken breasts and cans of tuna for cheap at Sams. I also drink a gallon of skim milk a day, that is like 130g of protein by itself.
If your bulking, don't forget the complex carbs (rice, potatoes, etc). Just make up a bunch of meals at once and put them in tupperware.
 
How many boards you gonna post this question on? I answered this for you this morning on Diet discussion. You will find you get the quality of help you deserve around here based on your attiude and willingness to do some of the research yourself. So far you are asking everone to tell you what to eat and weather or not to support the boards by paying for membership....
 
A dozen eggs cost about $1. Eat the hell out of egg whites. That should help with the extra protein plus be a little easier on your wallet.
 
You might also take a look at your cycle and see if there are ways you can tone it down or put in somethign else at a lower cost for same results? (Unless you've already purchased all your goodies.) You might have some of the cycle gurus review your cycle and see if they have suggestions for economical alternatives or dose suggestions.

One thing to keep in mind is a lot of people think that loading the AS is the way to go. There are some amazing things you can accomplish w/ lower doses & better training & diet.
 
I know how you feel bro. I to take 3 shakes at work. I use optimum's Pro complex blend. At www.esupp.net. Before work I Bag it in baggies and baggie my chicken breast and salad. The pro complex supplies 55g of protien per serving I spend 180.00 for a 4 week supply. As far as the juice Stick with Sustenon 250 and Fina. They are reletivly inexpensive and easy to pick up in bulk. saint7

Get a blender and use the protein powder to make your own shakes.

Other than that eat fish, chicken, lean meat. It's cheaper than buying protein bars and it works just as good if not better.

Buy the 10 lb bags of optimum whey 100% whey protein. $50 best for the money.

stop buying designer. It is a waste of money, imo. all whey are the same, if are suckered into buying the more expensive ones for any reason other than they TASTE better to you, you are a fool, imo.
