I feel like I am dying.
My tooth hurts so bad. I cannot eat or drink or any friggin thing.
So what do I do.....well i wait until 1 to call my dentist to get in immediatly...what do they friggin say?
Well they are on lunch until 2- go figure!
The pain is some what unbearable. I guess i should have taken care of it earlier..

well I think it may have some thing to do with those ear infections i was bitchin about a week or two ago. Not sure. It has been real bad since yesterday. Got severe last night, now 10 times worse today seeings how i tried eating with it.

yeah a lot of times pain and inflammation in the tooth can radiate through to the ears and people sometimes think they have an ear infection or someting when really its a tooth that has become abscessed. This has happened to me before. Ive had an abscesed tooth which caused the whole right side of my face to become swollen like a chipmunk. god that sucked. get in to see a dentist right away and get that drilled out. you will then have relief. and take some NSAIDs for the inflammation if you havent already/

So the tooth has half a filling and half down to near gum line. i was thinking about having the filling replaced, but hot damn I want the tooth gone now.

well if you had a filling that partially fell out a while ago, and now you are haviong severe pain, it is likely that it is now abscessed and you can either have it extracted or have a root canal done and then get a crown put on it.

NSAID = non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug i.e. ibuprofen. you need to take SOMETHING and an anti-inflammatory is probably your best bet unless you have access to some vicodin or something

like the others said, a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (whichever you use to control period pain, taken at the highest reccommended dose, since women tend to use the most effective pain relievers when they menstruate and have worked out through trial and error which is best) to control pain and inflammation until you can see a dentist. perhaps even a sleeping pill to help you sleep, since its important for your functioning that you do, and that level of pain will certainly keep you up.

im hesitant to reccommend ice and compression on the jaw, since sometimes that can increase pain, but give it a try and take note of it worsening/getting better

good luck tooth pain is horrible. i feel sorry for you

I am on amoxicillin and motrin 800's.
I have to go back wed afternoon and get 8 teeth pulled. All my molars need to go.
God They beat the bloody hell out of me. He took the end of the little mirror thing and bashed on my teeth asking if it hurt, jesus..I cried! lol
Then the xrays, oh boy. what a story...
Needless to say I was also "advized" to take my tongue ring out!

They are not actually all that bad. Only one if them are too bad to be repaired. However I do not have enough room for the wisdom teeth to come in so they are pullin out all my molars.
