Just called my Dad who has a huge house in the Beaches, he's away for the weekend so I'm going to cook dinner for her at his place and then looked up an outdoor concert that's going on a 20 minute walk away at the beach.

If a chick is all about your money then you shouldn't be dating her anyway. I realize that you can't tell her right out of the starting gate - I have no money cause I just changed jobs (even though it is the truth, it sounds lame) - any chick who doesnt appreciate the effort you went through to cook her dinner is LAME PERIOD. And from this female's perspective that sounds like a VERY nice date.

When I was dating I dated older men who were supposedly very financially set. So what did I do to mess with their world and keep them on their toes? I told the men that I was dating, "My birthday is coming, however, I will not accept a storebought gift." I can't tell you how many men failed MISERABLY..... except the Old Grump and I married his broke ass.

I'm thinking maybe to take her for a picnic in a park and then try to find a cool outdoor jazz concert? Romantic and creative but also cheap. Think she'll notice?

Plus I dont get paid until next Friday although I have some cash coming in Monday. Arg. I hate switching jobs and not getting paid.
