Hit nerve in quad....

Tryn2

New member
Just wanted everyone to know I did a quad inject at lunch and hit a nerve. Felt wierd and hurt pain shot through whole leg :chomp: , no biggie though pulled the pin changed it moved an 1" and whaalaa....lunch was over !!!

My last inject in the quad yesterday was damn near a nerve because the injection went fine but the pressure on the nerve makes me limp and sometimes my leg gives out when I am walking. I think once I make it through this cycle I am never using prop again.

fuck man, I seem to hit a nerve in my quads almost every time. last time I sat there shaking anticipating the injection and actually didn't hit a nerve that time. when I do hit a nerve, it just contracts the quad for a half second and I just continue with the injection process. in the past I've pulled out and reinjected(clean needle of course) but I found that to be unecessary.

the other day i was doing a bi site inject and my bi started to spaz/jump on me cuz i hit a funny spot...i ended up pulling out and hitting calves instead

I don't how people do that...bi's tri's traps, pecs, calves...scares me. I'm trying to get up the balls to do my shoulder but if my shoulder ends up feeling like my quads from the tren/prop then I don't want to take the chance that my arm won't be able to move.

yeah i hit a nerve probly 6 out every 10 quad injects

i hit one in the shoulder yesterday

ON prop now. And first shot CRIPPLED me.

Found a way that makes it almost painless for me.
I shoot the glutes and lower quads.

I heat up my ass or leg with a heating pad for about 1/2 hour. Warm the needle, then shoot. Reheat the area for about an hour or two.

Next day I have little to no pain or swelling.

Good luck.

Isnt that going alittle too far for a simple injection. I dont think you need to go through all that crap for an injection. I hope you only inject once a week cause you'll be warming your ass all week :theranger :mommakin:

Yeah that seems like alot. I really dont ever have any trouble with the quads. I usually only hurt the first few of a cycle then Im used to it.

I might have to try that for the prop because I can do suspension in the quads with less pain.

You guys do not know how to do a quad injection. Your spot of injection can't be right. You should be injecting into the vastus lateralis muscle (lateral midthigh area). Needle is inserted one inch (parallel to the floor or directed at an oblique angle to the surface) toward the anterior aspect of the thigh. There are no important nerves or vessels in close proximity. Of course, there will always be anomolies (branches of scaitic nerve in the area, but this is rare.)

You know what it is, I have as kick-ass time with Prop. SEVERE pain LOL. Maybe I'm a wimp. It's PL's and I here his is like that anyway. All I am saying is that it works for me. It was just a suggestion for anyone else who might have the same type of problem. It works with all the oil-based products.

Just my .02 and throwing it out there for a tool to use.

This is how i do it. If I use EQ, Enthate, Cyp, Sus....no pain...jurox suspension will hurt me..but prop (which I am a first time user) kills me. My left quad is sore from Sundays injection and my right leg is a little sore from saturday. I think i am doing it right because other gear doesn't hurt.

Based on what you're saying this diagram looks right (even if the article is for infant injections, the muscle diagram is helpful):

yeah you're right...im such an idiot

Better to rotate around--glutes, thighs, etc. Two of everything. Problem is being right-handed or left-handed.

what is the point of spot shooting?????lots of pepole i see are doing it but isnt all just painful swelling?

Yep...you guys need to study some anatomy.

bulldog....is will spot shooting actualy make the muscle your shooting grow? and i agree you should know your anatomy befor you start messing with quads.....or anywhere for that matter.....
also if there is somthing to this spot shooting what gear works best? because the thought of hitting my pecs and having instant gratification sounds inticing

IMO...there is NO advantage to spot injecting.

yup thats what i thought...thanks for the info..you always come through! so are all these pepole who are spot shooting stupid or just did not do enough research, cause i have friends who swear by it......all i see when they do it is swelling and they all think its muscle.

I wouldn't call them stupid...I'm sure they have some rationale behind it. I just don't believe it.

I read up on this. What I got is that the benifits of spot shooting is like saying how much more comfortable a blue sock is than a red one.

I don't use my quads because I think they are going to get bigger but because my ass hurts when i run out of places to stick. I did a quad inject this morning and came in at more of an angle like that diagram. We'll see if it makes a difference.

Well just for the record Ill make note that I do quads all the time and they are easy. If I run in to any problem I pull out change the pin move an inch and its done. It hurts the first few times but goes away. You all should try it. It is so easy to see what the hell you are doing.

Mine never really hurts during the injection but rather 12-36hours later. the evening of it will hurt..that following morning it is the worst. Not sure if it is the way it absorbs or what but I have heated the oils and it still seems to absorb and "flatten out" really slowly with the prop.

i inject everywhere. i dont give a fuck. i dont know anyone that accually beleives it will cause site specific growth. after doing so many damn injections per cycle the spot starts to get irrated. i like to go everywhere. i really just an individual thing.

Dude! Ive been doing quad injections ALL wrong! that 45 degree angle bit is what Ive been missing. I hit a nerve in my leg 4 days ago, and I still cant walk right, the pain was excruciating the next day.
