babbabuee said:fuck man, I seem to hit a nerve in my quads almost every time. last time I sat there shaking anticipating the injection and actually didn't hit a nerve that time. when I do hit a nerve, it just contracts the quad for a half second and I just continue with the injection process. in the past I've pulled out and reinjected(clean needle of course) but I found that to be unecessary.

Found a way that makes it almost painless for me.
I shoot the glutes and lower quads.
I heat up my ass or leg with a heating pad for about 1/2 hour. Warm the needle, then shoot. Reheat the area for about an hour or two.
Next day I have little to no pain or swelling.
Good luck.

Tryn2 said:Yeah that seems like alot. I really dont ever have any trouble with the quads. I usually only hurt the first few of a cycle then Im used to it.
DrJMW said:You guys do not know how to do a quad injection. Your spot of injection can't be right. You should be injecting into the vastus lateralis muscle (lateral midthigh area). Needle is inserted one inch (parallel to the floor or directed at an oblique angle to the surface) toward the anterior aspect of the thigh. There are no important nerves or vessels in close proximity. Of course, there will always be anomolies (branches of scaitic nerve in the area, but this is rare.)

EvolutionOfTheRevolution said:Based on what you're saying this diagram looks right (even if the article is for infant injections, the muscle diagram is helpful):

KR177 said:oh ed, lol. I havent done a cycle yet that requires ed injections.

tboy72 said:bulldog....is will spot shooting actualy make the muscle your shooting grow? and i agree you should know your anatomy befor you start messing with quads.....or anywhere for that matter.....
also if there is somthing to this spot shooting what gear works best? because the thought of hitting my pecs and having instant gratification sounds inticing
tboy72 said:yup thats what i thought...thanks for the info..you always come through! so are all these pepole who are spot shooting stupid or just did not do enough research, cause i have friends who swear by it......all i see when they do it is swelling and they all think its muscle.
I read up on this. What I got is that the benifits of spot shooting is like saying how much more comfortable a blue sock is than a red one.Bulldog_10 said:IMO...there is NO advantage to spot injecting.
Tryn2 said:Well just for the record Ill make note that I do quads all the time and they are easy. If I run in to any problem I pull out change the pin move an inch and its done. It hurts the first few times but goes away. You all should try it. It is so easy to see what the hell you are doing.
