Hide the bones!!

My two little dogs have turned my living room into their own personal bone storage area. They love those little rawhide chew bones that you get at the pet store. They both have their own, but they insist on stealing the other's when they aren't looking. Right now one is on one couch with three bones, and the other is on another couch with four. Oh yeah, there are three more in the dog bed in the corner.

I need to learn to say no to them.


My poor big dog in the yard is just happy with one. Of course whenever she sees the little one's coming she grabs her bone and takes it with her.

That's what one of my ferrets does with my bras/underwear. We nicknamed him "Panty Patrol" because he's always hopping around dragging lingerie under our entertainment center. It's irritating to have to dig stuff out from under there but it's amusing enough to not bother me.

Another one of the ferrets tracks down my purse every time she's loose and brings my pens under there too. The entertainment center is a sort of "graveyard" for items that they can carry.

....but pets are like family to us and we love them even when they're bad.

I'd rather have a gift certificate to my local Asian nail salon. I'm going there tomorrow....and then I'm going to the Wild vs Canucks preseason game at 7pm-- 7th row club seats w/valet parking. That was my little "token of appreciation" for my bf being so supportive of me while I'm working/going to school full time.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the merits of being fat.

That said, pets are good for the soul because you can beat them to oust your inner demons. Same thing with toddlers and Mexicans.
