HGH with or without T4?

I am putting together an article on growth hormone and T4 and I am curious what the GH vets have to say about this.

seems to be an awful lot of bro science on forums about whether you truly need T4 or not.. some guys say they have been on GH for 10 some years without it and their bloodwork shows they are fine.. others claim it enhances their GH run.

the only thing that seems to be agreed on is that 50-100mcg's a day is a good dose. other than that its hard to write an article on something so cluttered with different opinions.. I feel like I am back in college and my paper is due the next day and my computer just broke, talk to me guys on this.

for sure with T4.....after a few months your t4 levels will really go down. Thats one reason why i am doing a 3 day a wk deal with gh now..... + some slin

and i have to say its working out nicely. i did use 50mcg only tho.....didnt need a lot, but i am younger which may make a difference, but at the same time, ive used for on/off for 3.5 yrs.

Agreed, I run 100-200mcg ED with GH.

The normal process is for your body to make T4 and then convert that to T3 as needed. However in situations where the building blocks of the Thyroid hormones themselves or the enzymes to convert T4 to T3 are missing your body will skip the T4 creation step and start making T3 as best it can.

We know scientifically that hormones in the body have various feedback mechanisms and that the thyroid function is to some degree tied into everything. We also know that increasing the levels of hormones in the body artificially by taking in external hormones that the hormonal excess generally effects the metabolism of tissue. In the case of AAS we see increased protien synthesis, muscle mass etc. In the case of GH we see an increased cellular turnover in the skin and other tissues.

With the above in mind I have a personal theory that when we see halts to gains when on AAS and alterations to other hormones while taking in exo stuff (like GH) is a 2 fold response. One is the body simply tying to maintain homeostasis and the other is simply by accelerating bodily functions by exo hormone intake we put nutritional demands on our body and deplete stores to the point where the accelerated body functions cant be properly maintained.
