One Million is termed unisex, but I think the musky/darker drydown makes it better suited for men. The opening is nice and sweet with a blast of blood orange with a backing of slight mint and cinnamon. This is a rather sweet fragrance throughout and is part of the reason it’s so popular. As I’ve said in many reviews, sweet fragrances are usually going to be your compliment from women fragrances. This one does that to an extreme, and does it well.
This is perfect for fragrance for the fall and winter. I can see this being worn in the spring, and maybe summer. It’s a perfect night time fragrance though. I don’t really see this being used for the daytime. Looking for a date scent or for a night out at the bar or club? This is PERFECT for that. This isn’t for the office or the classroom. It’s a fun and playful scent that just fits the nightlife perfectly. Projection for Paco Rabanne is very good, and application should be minimal. Two to maybe three sprays and you’re done, and that’s at the most. Longevity lives up there with Pure Malt and other long lasting fragrances. One Million lasts FOREVER on me, which is something I like. If I’m going to be spending $50 on a bottle I don’t want to have to apply it every three hours to smell it. I’ve applied this in the early evening, and still smelled it the next morning. Yes, it’s that good. In my opinion I think anyone young can wear this. It’s targeted for the younger crowd and perfectly hits its mark. This is perfect for going out, strong enough to cut through the smoke and funk of a bar or crowded club or party. Even if you’re above 25, yet still young at heart, I think you could pull this one off. Like mentioned before, women LOVE this fragrance and you will get the compliments.
