has anyone ever heard of this ? I always tell him if it sounds to good to be true... it is

you said he is "always" wasting money on get rich schemes...

does this mean he doesn't learn after the first few times they don't produce revenue?

ok.. needto, you arent really helping my cause here LOL

are you serious ? do you have specific knowledge in these schemes ?
I never paid for anything like this. But this is the way I look at things. People who are filthy rich don't work for there money. At some point in there life the Made up there mind that the wanted to stop working for the money and let the money work for them.

You can be a doctor a lawyer any thing at all. It don't matter. If you are working for money and your money is not working for you. You will never get rich ever. Well small chance of it any way.

What stops people from getting there money to work for them is they are scared to take risks. At least your uncle is willing to do this. He may not strike it rich this time or the next time, but maybe he will some day. He will never find out if he never tries.

and yes, a person would have to be an idiot to send over a grand to that site.

there is a difference in taking a 'calculated risk' and 'simply throwing your money around mindlessly.'

And its always best to come up with your own idea and invest in that. Then it is to throw your money at other people. Tell him to come up with something on his own and invest in himself. Invest into his own business or his own product or something he came up with.

The flaw that I see in that search engine thing is that it is - from their example - geared towards advertising and classfieds.

Most people don't do net queries and searches looking to buy something. While net sales have increased, it is still true that most of net searches are information based. And you will still find more matches on key words in google than you would for a geo-graphical search. Especially if your geographical location is small in population. 20 mile radius from 10021 will produce more than some from a small city in KY.

but do you think this is a scam ?

not sure if it's a scam, but the monthly $50 fee you have to keep paying and the multi-level payout plan that talks about paying you 5 levels deep for people you refer to "enroll" (not "invest" - as they make it sound on the first page like you are a VC investor)...all make it a NO GO in my book.

one thier site looks like trash.

two they will never overtake the likes of google. Google is a multi billion dollar corperation probably getting closer to the trillion mark by now and they really have a good grasp on what they are doing.

three the concept doesn't seem very viable.

four I look at these things alot myself, and I'm going to find something for me, something that takes little or no start up for one and something that is viable where I can be payed for my services and my ideas and not my time.

I also google said programs and scams and 90% of the time I find hordes of hordes of angry people who got scammed or people who carefully rip it apart bit by bit, until the point where I don't want to try it anymore.

also again thier copywriter whoever wrote thier entire direct response advertising really sucks, and if he sucks chances are everything else sucks too, not saying that just because it's a good copywriter that the product is good either, but at least I'd be more posotively influenced.

That site looks awful. I would not buy anything they are selling...

if they need money the idea is not good enough for them to risk their own cash/house or the vcs passed on it--the real money maker is selling that crap to other people

Also just a sidenote.

there is a site out there much life EF that has a forum and they basically just talk about scammers and preventative methods and whatnot, he should check it out.

it'll open his eyes to alot of the scams that are out there, and they even made a few recommendations, though I didn't look into them as much as I would have liked.

All I know is I find claims like make 60k-100k a year from home alot more viable then make 100k in your first month that kind of shit is generally bullshit.

Even 250k seems viable when they say things like if you're exceptional and put the time and effort into it.
