Sugar, I'll give you a heads up. Don't talk shit about my dad...he was a Corpsman during WWII on Tarawa and Iwo and as much as I like Spartacus I still hold an e-grudge against him for calling dad a pussy for hating the Japanese.

My dad tried to save American lives but he was a product of his generation and the "old breed"

My dad was in the Army Corps of Engineers in WWII, all over the islands of the South Pacific. He has many stories locked up in his memory. GI's bodies stacked ten high for three days while brass debated on where to bury them. Can you imagine? Seeing your buddies like that?

I have only heard maybe 2 or 3 of those stories. The rest he won't share with anyone. The other stories were of the good times. Fun with buddies, etc. Dad will be 90 on March 1st. He doesn't have too many more birthdays left.

Both of my grandfathers served in WWI and my dad was a navy corpsman in WWII and they were all tight lipped.

No need to apologize, I consider us contentious good bros on a website.

This place is fun for me but there are a few things that I respect so highly that I will get e-aggressive over and my father is probably #1. If there is any subject you want to avoid me to avoid in my joshing that you find really offensive then PM me and I'll respect it.

PS I don't consider Jesus a real topic to avoid but I won't make a personal attack on anyones' family.
