how to do u other bros deal with hi hematocrit.my endo recently told me i was over norm readings so in her wisdom decided to lower my dosage of cyp.she said my readings r hi because im getting to much 100ml a week is to much i excliamed?she lowered it to 75ml per week.however my bioavailable test is just slightly over norm,i mentioned that and she said its ok its still in the normal range.my thoughts that on 75 ml a week it will be quite low i think.how do u keep your hematocrit in normal range if u cycle,ty.

hi hematocrit=more red blood cells=more viscous blood=increase risk for heart disease
i have heard grapefruit is a natural way to normalize your hematocrit..can't hurt

are you on B12 right now?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe ACE inhibitors lower hematocrit...so you may be able to keep the higher dose of test if you're taking an ACE inhibitor.... green tea, ginger and garlic are natural ACE inhibitors I think

curious what does b12 have to do with it?

well, a low level of hematocrit can indicate anemia... which is also caused by vitamin b12 deficiency... so I'm thinking that the opposite, higher levels of B12 can cause higher levels of hematocrit... I could be way off base here though

are you a smoker? hematocrit can be altered by dehydration as well, people who exercise on a regular basis especially aerobic exercise can have high-normal levels, some cardiac patients with COPD/CHF as well.

it is rare that an ACE inhibitor will cause a decrease in hematocrit,,if it were to decrease heamatocrit it proably would be in a CHF/COPD patient who is going from elevated levels to a normal range because they are now getting their condition under "control"....or i could be a life threatening condition where hematocrit, RBC, platelets, WBC's drop to dangerous levels. do you know the number your hematocrit was
