Help!! :)

I'm currently on cycle and have quite a bit of tendon pain in my right elbow. I have some naprosyn/naproxen 500mg on hand from an old injury. What are your thoughts on taking anti inflammatory drugs while on? Current cycle is 500 mg test 3 ew, 150 mg deca ew. thanks for your input.

Any idea what's causing the pain? I was having the same problem and realized my elbows were loaded while I was squatting. A change in grip and hand position and it was gone in a week.

shit man if i were you i would just increase the deca to 400mg/wk and im sure after a bit the tendon pain will subside.

You have pain because you have an injured joint. Taking anti-inflamatories will hide the pain, reduce inflammation and in turn healing and allow you to continue to train and thus cause more injury.

The only thing to really help tendons/ligaments is rest so they can heal and if thats not possible, prolotherapy will allow you to at least keep lifting and force your body to heal.

unfortunetly, this is the right answer. I know the last thing you want too hear is to rest it.

Thankyou for all the advice, I think will rest my elbow for a week. I hate to do that, so I guess my legs are going to get some extra lovin in the gym. :)

another thing i injured my wrist a couple weeks ago and was stubborn and kept lifting it only made things worst.... make sure it is 100% cured before you lift again

A week likely isnt even close to enough time. If you do stop lifting for a week though, avoid anti inflamatories because they will reduce your bodies natural healing during that time.

If the pain comes back right away after the break the injury is more sever and could take many weeks to heal. If you can find a prolo doc in your area and want to go that route you could continue to lift but at a bit of a lighter load.

make sure your in the clear...resting for a week..is better than resting for 3-4 weeks..by just re-injuring it..or making it worse..make sure its healed 100% bro

Elbow still hurts like hell mostly when I make a fist (funny huh). So no shaking my fist at people lol. I've done great leg workouts while I'm healing and hitting the abs good as well. Feels strange not doing total body as thats the program I'm on atm. It is soooo hard keeping myself from deads and bench, I can almost hear the weights calling my name and then laughing at me. I'm pretty sure I wont be able to use the elbow for at least 2 weeks. Oh well I'll keep trucking on!!!
