Help Stop The Flatulence. I fart way too much.

Singleton

New member
Okay, I can't even stand it.

I eat a lot of eggs (mostly whites) and protein powder/shakes -- those two things are what makes me fart so much. I need to eat this protein, though. I am currently on and I need a lot of protein.

This is a serious problem. Seriously, what can I do to stop the flatulence?

Gotta live with it... eating massive amounts of protein will cause your gas to be quite abundant and potent enough to kill small animals.

i wish there was a way to cut down on the protein shits also.......i shit so much that my ass is so irritated from whiping so much, are their any creams that i can put around my anus to relieve this....lol sorry im not kidding im serious

LOL, Up until this year that has been a huge problem for my family! It was not HUMAN I was told. Well I found the culprit, CARBS-CARBS-CARBS!!! I have used MRP's with carbs in them in the past, and I was told that the sugar+ other stuff ferments in your intestine, causing, wwell you know! I woke up one night tasting LYSOL, my wife sitting up in bed reading, and had a can of Lysol in her hand to combat my problem.
Well the family is so happy with the low-no carb diet I have been on for the last 8 weeks. I mean the gas factor is Nil. I use Isopure protein powder, has 0 carbs/ 0 fat, no sugar, so it is very clean on the system.
Anyway this is has I nipped the green fog in the ass!

Two things ==1 the ginger root 2-- cut back on the amount of protein per serving. the body can't deal with 50 grams of protein all hitting at once in a fart and shit shake. If you want to go over 30 grams. then at lest split the protien into that which is absorbed at different speeds. at least you will have a chance. --Everything isn't really more protein equals more size. you body has to be able to work with the portions--tomo

I agree on that. I can put down 400 grams of proteins, but if I keep my carbs below 300 grams, there is no flatulence. However, I am bulking now, and the carbs are 800 grams, and I fart so much, that I have to pay pollution taxes.

It can get pretty rough especially when bulking. Try cutting back a little on the protien shakes...thats what does it for me.

Guess what.... a product called beano is available in the gro stores that eleminates gas!!!!!
Make the world a better place!!!!!!:)

My doctor gave me hydrocortizone cream. You can buy it off the shelf too. That helps a bunch. This sounds gay, but there are flushable baby wipes that are much less irritating to your arse. That has helped me the most.

If you end up finding something that works, let me know! For whatever reason, it's not a problem for me now, but has been in the past. NO idea what I changed either. I've tried pro-biotics, gas-ex, and taking almost an entire bottle of "bean-o" a day without result. go figure!

The brand of protien supplement can make a big difference.

Rennie Deflatine
Rennie deflatine quickly relieves the discomfort of painful trapped wind and its associated symptoms of bloating, pressure and fullness after food.
It has been formulated with simethicone, a highly effective ingredient which swiftly relieves the symptoms of trapped wind. It acts to gently disperse the trapped air bubbles thus helping to eliminate the symptoms discreetly and without embarrassment.

Rennie deflatine also has antacid properties meaning it can quickly neutralise and excess acid which causes associated symptoms of indigestion.

-----------

Against huge craps: 2 mg loperamide every other day will do the trick to make your craps much more solid.

Deflatine and loperamide are a must during bulking cycles.

ok let me tell u folks!!

Firstly make sure your protein powder is good - (right on Jubei), poor quality protein which is not digested well is sure to give you wind. So make sure its good!

Secondly don`t consume too much, if you really are farting like crazy and it absolutely wreaks then you are consuming too much for your body to handle period. The reason that keeping the carbs down can prevent it is because the protein is being converted to glucose. Ingest loads of carbs and there is no need for the body to do so, so the protein is used solely as aminos.

Take it from a Master Chef of 20+ years in the kitchen and a Nutrition Degree:

Its not the protein, its the type of sugars that are digested by the bacteria in your lowerintestine/colon that produce the depth and danger of the "Winds of Change".

Zero carbs means zero wind. The destructive payload is based upon combos of foods, but the cubic meters of payload is based purely on carbs.

Did you ever notice that the little ones that burn like molten brass on the way out are the real Eye-burners/Nose Hair Removers? and that the massive Hindenburg Flappers you get after Carb-Up are, for the most part, pretty tame when it comes to lethality?

I find it difficult to see that protein has nothing to do with it. From personal experience at the very least. When I ate loads of carbs and lowish protein I had little wind.

When I ate very low carb and very high protein I felt ill I had so much wind.

Very low carb as in 20g or less per day low? hmmm... that should pretty much eliminate the foul winds that blow...

The binders and thickeners used to make shakes thick, like EAS Low Carb, etc. can produce farts that would pluck the feathers off buzzard at 50 yards. The other side effect of low carbing followed by highFart carbs is that you get a savage rebound effect and fart you brains out until your body returns to dealing with the carb intake in normal fashion. You can certainly hear the rumble of round entering the chamber...

Did you take a specific class on the creation of farts? If so what was it called?

As soon as I get my 100 posts in, you get karma for repeated use of choice wording!!

I just added milk back into my diet. I wasn't lactose-intolerant before, but I guess I'm half-way there, because let me tell you folks - I'm ripping wind like it was Christmas. Jeez, and it's not the smell-less ones, either - I can kill a small animal with a well-aimed release.

I have lets some fly after doing milk post zero carb that are cleary contrary to Geneva Convention rules... I feel your pain....
