i was drying out some prop powder i just converted in the oven. after one hour it looked great and i broke down the chunks a bit to get the rest of the moisture out. after the second hour i took it out and now it is fucked up. the powder looks like it absorbed into the coffee filter and now there is some sticky waxy shit on the bottom side of the filter. a bit of the prop that is left (maybe 2 grams out of 10 g) looks good about another 2 g's have a strange yellow tint to it and my other ~6g is fukin gone? somebody help with an explanation please. 2 hrs @165 in the oven. thanks in advance

You need an accurate thermometer. The prop must hav gotten to over 250*F. I did the same with tren a while back. Did it go through the filter and on to something else, or is it all in the filter? Take the filter, wad it up carefully, and soak it in acetone until all of the prop is out of the filter, and dissolved in the acetone. Slowly add, drop wise, distilled water to the acetone/prop mixture. Add lots of water, the slower the better. The prop will crystalize out. Filter again with a coffee filter, dry at well below 250*F.

All your prop will be there.

my oven is two yrs old and i haven't had a problem in the past, but yes it did go through the filter and onto the pan i had the filters on. where the hell do i get acetone? thanks for your help. any other responses?

acetone can be bought anywhere that paint is sold, like walmart or a hardware store

Yes, walmart or HD. Scrape all the goo off the pan, and stick it in the acetone.
