Help please!!

Hey girls, I have always faced a problem with my legs. As I have gotten more in shape they have becomes more toned, however towards the top of my leg on each side near my butt ( I believe what I am talking about is called a gluteus minimums) has alway been very large and I am not sure if there are any exercises that I can do to get rid of it.
I know that I can't loose weight in one specific area but literally it's almost like having a but that raps around the sides and I really need to get rid of it.
HELP PLEASE
 
start incorporating Squats using free weights and lots of reps., then after several sets finish up using the stairclimber, this will do a nice job in that area.
don't neglect the rest of your body, hit all areas to keep everything in balance.
