I need a new phone and plan. I'm branching out on my own here. Need advice. Couple of points:

1. I'm not interested in spending a lot on a phone with tons of bells and whistles. I want unlimited texting (QWERTY would be nice) and a camera on the phone (muy importante).
2. I dont need to be able to access my emails and shit like that. i can do that on this laptop that is with me 24/7/365.
3. Help

I'm with t-mobile and have unlimited munites, media, and texting for $125/mo after all the fees and surcharges. Works for me.

Get the plan that allows you to text me for free. Your booty calls/ texts are schweet, but they're a burden considering the recession our economy's in.

Keep one side for you, give the other side to Chris. Depending on how far he is, it might be the cheapest.

I recommend one that only dials/accepts calls from my number...I'm sure you have other ideas though.

what gets the best signal in your home area.... there are a lot of factors that play into this decision. Hell, I don't live anywhere near you. For all I know tracfone would be best in your area. Hell Smurfy, I don't even know what city your in, or country. No habla espanol. Muy Gracias! So you should ask people around you. I would check out Verizon even though they are expensive. T-Mobile, pricey but decent. Two cans and a cord, that made by enderje. I don't know..... go hit up someone and just ask. What do they advertise on the TV where you live? See these are all questions you need to ask.

Do they have service up there? Is it cold up there? LOL I bet it is. Your in the hilly part aren't you? Cool state though. Alpine Valley is a cool place. I once was there.............(dreaming)...........

Better check out Verizon or T-Mobile.

My husband has T-Mobile with the My Circle feature, he has five numbers he can speak to an unlimited amount of time with no restrictions, unlimited internet access, no texting. For one phone the plan costs about $69 a month after taxes. He has pretty good coverage, comparable to Verizon IMO. What I liked about T-Mobile in particular, when he got that phone/plan we went in there, said I want to keep the bill around XYZ and need these features, they said okey dokey. They basically have an a la carte thing for services, which all companies don't offer.

From personal observation, Verizon has the best coverage but they're expensive as hell, I hate their contracts and don't care for their salespeople. Nextel has crappy coverage even in very populous areas.

You can check how good your signal will be on Tmo's website, and their customer service is amazing. I have the 5 favs plan, so its free for me to call 5 people (My circle is altell).

I can never remember which is which so yeah, you're right, it's the 5 favs plan not My Circle, but he's really happy with the phone and service I'm always happy with the bill.

who are your most frequent callers with? consider that, most plans have a plan that won't cost you to call these numbers, and if outside that plan your minutes will cover it. If its work related... hell make them fuckers cover it. You should be able to put a text plan in there to cover unlimited text to any provider.

And what Chris said about the any 5 numbers. One of my husband's five are the house (which is a land line), and the rest are cell phones from different carriers. It's great because you never have to worry about checking the time when calling/being called by someone you talk to a lot (like spouse or kid).
