I'm a sprinter and my season is almost here and I need help for a cycle for this one.

I was thinking anavar stacked with winstrol or useing equipoise, I'm not sure which is the best for sprinting but I want what evers going to help the most and get my times down, I run the 1,2,4 and 4x1 . The problem is I need to start the cycle so it will last until the championchips in june. But need advice on what kind of cycle and how many mg a day I should do as I know winstrol drys joints so I wouldn't want to use very much of it so I could still run. Thank you for all the advice in advance!!

No, no testing at all, and 21

do not do any gear--too young. gear + sprinting = torn ligaments.

work on upper body/core strength to get out of the blocks faster.

Make sure you peak at the right time.

or get a better coach/team

Well this will actually be my 2nd cycle I did anavar for 4 weeks for my first one 45mg ed, I just want some advice on which would be best because I need the edge please

"need an edge"? I was a DIII All American in 800 (1:51)--and sponsored by Adidas for three years (5000 15:23)----so I know a bit about this

if you are not tested, then what do you need an edge for? All recognized Federations require testing as do every single incubator I know of---and you can't have a sponsor w/o an affiliation. So what is the edge for? what race? Something does not sound right here:confused:

Listen to the other guys you dont need juice for sprinting. And your only 21. If its an edge you want then in the off season instead of partying train more and get better.

Its for a regular outdoor track champion, and the edge is to beat one of my competitors and more that I've had trouble with and for the 1 and 2 mostly to get faster, we don't get tested idk why we just don't lol

sorry bro--gear will not help it will hurt. with the exception of a few, all will decrease your soft tissue and compromise its integrity by making the outer fiber brittle--and you do not have enough miles under your belt to have enough built-up to overcome this issue.

Moreover, the only gear that would not do this^^ produce metabolites that can appear in the newer blood tests months and months after use.

If you are just in a local track club, then you risk your future by using gear--not just b/c of a failed test but b/c you WILL get hurt.

follow what I told you--build-up your core and peak at the correct time and you can beat him--but I have to tell you, there will ALWAYS be someone faster--ALWAYS.

Someone on here may help you do gear--I will not.

How does building muscle and sprinting go hand and hand??? look at all your Fastest guys in the nfl, there not big guys bro... okay felix jones is 235 and runs a 4.29, but Chris Johnson, Tedd Ginn Jr, desean jackson, i can go on and on with this list, and not the first..... Sprinting and body building... two different sports... If you wanna build muscle, use Naty supps and eat to gain some weight..If your using anavar at that dose anyways, you cant be gaining to much... So why not just eat 2 extra meals and gain it naturally at the expense of your health... Good luck bro, sprinter arnt big... Tendons will be done....

Its not the fact of getting bigger its getting strongerwithout the weight, ben johnson used winstrol and was able to beat carl louis and he squatted 600 pounds too boot, and I'm not that big now any way I'm only 5 11 and 160 i m not big but the gains were actually very good I gained 65 on my bench and bout the same ratio to the other lifts it helped a lot, I've trained legit for 3 years gaining each time but I need a bigger jump now

Only because he got cought and if he didn't he would have been reconized as one of the fastest men in history , but my point he still used and it worked for him I'm just trying to get advice for my cycle that's all

Yes I understand that I already have my mind set on it I just wanted to see. What anyone could tell me lol , there are people younger than me using them, but thank you for your advice I still appriciate it

I've done sprinting in my teens on a top national level. competition is tough, my ambitions were crazy high. Yes I did gear in my teens. No torn ligaments, no test shutdown.

I did my first cycle at 19 - 100mgs primo + 50mgs of anavar per day for 8 weeks. Progressed much faster than ever before

just don't be stupid and run winstrol like my mates did

Just don't run winny cus of possible joint problems not a good time to experiment with it also can REALLY mess with cholesterol and bloods fucked up my running and got worse pumps but probably be ok with pumps if did fine with anavar and being smaller seems like less of a problem. Anything really thats lower dosed and that doesn't cause weight gain. Towards end of yr for championships/regionals could run something like lowe dosed halo.

Ya its kinda like a district , regional , state tourny, so I'm not quite sure when I should start it . I was looking into halo too but I wasn't really sure as I haven't done that much reasearch on it, but would I end up stacking it with anavar through the season then by the ending start the doses of halo?

98% of people on here are gym rats who are trying to get stronger and/or going for the bodybuilder look. you won't find many who have any experience on the track. I am one of those that do, i was a competitive runner for 3 years. and i will say steroids ruined my times, did not help. what did help was busting my ass ahead of the race and training hard. the harder i trained, the better i did. if i didn't train hard i would struggle

so IMO whether you take steroids or not won't make much of a difference (if anything it could be counter productive as it was with me) so your best bet is to bust your ass and knock on wood stay healthy. and you will do well. yeah its true you might get frustrated watching some dude work half as hard as you and get a better time, i saw that all the time. but not all of us have the same genetics

Trust me I completely understand where your comming from, I busted my ass all three years as soon as the season was over off season training began I trained very hard I had two personal trainers but they left, any way I used the anavar cycle on the off season to gain strength so now I'm looking for on season to keep / gain during to gain more speed

I knew plenty of athletes who juiced in college, but most often it didnt help as much as they thought because it was a head game...they onl worked hard when on, and were all bummed when off....at 21 your natural hormonal cocktail is better than a good cycle so you have all you need to work on your speed and power...

If you know how to train, eat, and supplement right, at your age you should be able to make huge improvements...

Juice will help you recover faster now, but in long run of your athletic career probably just lower your natural T levels if you end up doing it less than optimal...plus these days we know enough about recovery to do some amazing things, rolling out on hard rollerrs, tennis balls, LAX balls, doing lots of self myofascial release, using The Stick, ice baths, massage, various kinds of stretching, relaxation strategies post workout and before bed....with the right kinds of self care and supplementation you can improve recovery, hence training hard again on the track and in the weightroom

Do power cleans, snatches, squats, plyos...get a good strength coach, and if you dont have one already speed coach, work on your gains in the weightroom and in technique on the track, and someone who knows how to program both your weightroom and track workouts together to make the best gains....then find someone to help you with nutrition and supplements, of which this might not be the best place because athletic performance is a different world than bodybuilding all together....that goes for your training, diet, and supplements...youre going to be doing something different than most folks on here who are training for looks and my impression is most of us on here are way older than you...

If you are not already focus on learning the olympic lifts from a good coach, and improve whatever you can in your run technique, and get someone who can mastermind your workout strategy

there are just too many variables to give good advice on something like this with the info you have provided

there are two huge things that stand out right from the get go and then a 3rd that you ended up revealing:
1 your age
2 you want a LONG cycle

then 3rd your inability to listen to any criticism

so even if you gave more info and got great advice from vets here.. i doubt you would really follow it

roids are not the only thing that can make you beat this guy.. a new diet, routine, mental focus, and supplement arsenal can help as well

Well if you are willing to tell me ill listen, what other supplements should I be taking, ill explain my problem is the ending of the race about the 60 meter mark of the 1 I end up slowing down and get passed, the begining I'm beating everybody by at least 8 meters but then I lose rotation, I don't now what to do for it, I do all those types of lift s and everything in the off season and maintain during, I alsowas in great contition in season as I go by myself and do workouts as our coach is not very good and I've been by myself for a while I lost my trainer to a new job so I'm kind of wondering in the dark here I still do speed training by myself to what my limits are given like box jumps, sprint intervals, trampoline runs, band runs, and plyos but I'm really not sure what else I could do for my twitch muscles

, and my diet I'm not sure about either I do make my own but I'm not quite a nutritionist so again in the dark, also I'm not sure if I should take protien during my season or not as a choice, and tom i. Am willing to listen to critizism, and not a long cycle I just to win the championchip at the end of the season so I could do it in the middle, and I do understand my age, I really am happy you guys are helping me because I do need advice even if its not what I asked it would still help me because ill listen

ok so you need a new coach/trainer. it is always easier if you are surrounded by people more knowledgeable then yourself.

you should definitely spend good money on quality protein supplements.

your diet needs to be logged 100% everything you eat you should write down or take a picture of and post it online for you and your coach to see. from there you can make adjustments as necessary.

i train guys who start off as amateurs fighting 3 min rounds.. when they turn pro the rounds are 5 mins. when people have problems gassing near the end of the round or in the last round its a simple fix. we make sure they have gas for long rounds and more rounds.

you most likely need to improve your conditioning and power output. diet and supps can have a huge part of this. if you are not properly fueling a porsche it will drive like crap.

what is your training/routine like how often are you running, how far, how often do you lift, how long, what rep ranges... etc etc

see this is why we just dont say.. yeah f it swallow some dbol and winstrol and you will get faster...

First, you have had bad training advice b/c your issue is classic and easy to fix.

Okay--having spent far too much of my life on a track I can tell you right now STRENGTH IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM--what you describe is simple: you have not done enough work above that your lactate threshold--its hitting you like a wall at 60m because of one thing--your VO2 max is too low--you need a specific training targeted at raising that threshold--NO GEAR WILL HELP WITH THIS--in fact, it will hurt.

Trust me--you describe a classic sign of bad coaching--and you will not get a good coach if he/she thinks you are/have done gear b/c they risk their livelihood by training you.

You are plenty big enough--more muscle will just hurt you.

If you can't get a trainer--a good one--go to you local college, talk to the track coach (most will offer you some advice as your problem is classic and easy to fix--easy to tell you how, hard work to fix).

If you live in a big city or certain endurance hubs, find a performance lab that has the best rep and spend your $$ there---they will do more in 3 hours than 5 years of training.

If that fails or you can't afford it, I will tell you in detail how to fix your issue by June--your speed is not the issue--it's your cardiovascular (and, I bet, there is a couple of diet issues b/c you are not clearing lactic acid fast enough). BUT if you do any gear I will not help.

^^^ i will say this i went through this with my 5K's.. could not break 20 minutes no matter what.. it was frustrating.. i would be in front of this one chick and she would ALWAYS pass me on the final half mile and i felt like i was outta gas. so i started doing LSD long slow distance.. really built up my mileage, stuck to 8 minute pace for 50-55 minutes doing a lot of hillwork too. then boom the next 5K i was in front of her and she never caught up from then on. i broke that barrier and never looked back.

so i think you hit the nail on the head with this kid, he needs to improve his endurance

Im impressed there are some nice guys on here giving you solid advice you should be PAYING FOR....

Id link up with eddy and keep zip your lips and just listen and absorb and try anything you can from him.

Also be careful you come off sounding like you know you are doing the correct trainign in the weightroom, but list stuff off as if you just throw any exercise in the weightroom or on the track in a blender to hit your "twitch muscles"....ummm....there is so much more to a proper S&C program then throwing shit in a blender and calling it a workout...

Well I'm pretty much outta luck with trainers as there arnt anymore around and coaches there's not a decent track eam or coach withing a hour or 2, and my cardio was pretty good I was in shape but idk, our coach didn't do anything he let's us roam and I go by myself and do my own work out and when I have a question I get mad because there's no one to ask, but I live in a small city with not a lot of resources, I've never heard of a endurance hub and I'm not sure what other supps I should try

I carb up the day before but I've never really been on a good diet for sprinting for what nurtition I need for it I just try to eat healthy and good, so it could be my diet and I don't know what V02 is I've never reasearched it but as for and it could be acid but it doesn't burn when I hit that wall, I do a lot of work but not always sure what to do but I know I need to by june 1 and 2nd, that's why I'm willing to listen to any idea cause I really don't have anything else just some experience

Carb up? Oh Bro, you have been badly misinformed or not informed.

Send me a PM and we can chat. Give me all your stats/times/max HR/current training protocol and when and who you ran for and I will see what I can do and let me know where you are--I may know someone in the area or close enough.

What level are you running at bro sounds bad if no decent coachs or assistants in your area sure be somebody. Have ran track 100 and 200 my coach was a runner for Jamaica in worlds and would be able easily help u. If are serious about track need go somewhere else.

2 things if don't mind asking
What level is it ur at?
what times approx are u running?

Doesn't sound like probably need anything as far as aas just supps such as creatine and protein maybe some unleashed.

Do 100 meter work where divide it by cones at transition points first 20 dig phase then transition phase to 50 then final. Also be good to do that with parachute do 2x just to 20 then to 50 and finally to finish.

I am not sure about sprinting and not sure how it would work for your age, but ghrp 6 and cjc 1295 work great for me but I am 33 and hgh levels are lower at my age. Someone else here might know more.

We are working on getting him some good advice--maybe start a thread in Endurance but for now--no more advice about gear--PLEASE:)

'nuff said.
