im assuming your talking about shoulder presses right? well alternate between dumbells and the barbell.. also make sure your form is relaxed, where when bringing the weight up your leaning back instead of forwards.. This is the most common mistake people make.. when you lean forward your only using 2/3 of your shoulder strength, when leaning back your using all 3 parts of your shoulder incorporated into your press.
What is your current w/o like? maybe you're over training your shoulders, spending too much time on smaller movements that aren't important? Taking away form you over head press. What is your form like (maybe posta video)
Here is a nice vid by Mark Rippetoe on the over head press
good way to hurt, but your also at your strongest when leaning back, this can tie into the whole arguement of why people prefer and not prefer to the behind the back pulldown.. and eclispe u can stop the dickriding to all my posts.. kthxbai
well i'm doing smolov training so i'm working in OH press twice a week currently
then on the other two days i'm benching.
so that's basically it, two days of bb OH and two days of benching.
seems like a lot but i recover quick
