There Something I Can Take To Help???
Water?
Orange Juice?
Potassium??

Dude phone 911 if you feel that bad better safe than sorry. If your feeling better get down to ER. Phone a family member/friend tell them whats going on.

Hope your ok

If you have chest pains, feel like a huge stone is on your sternum and cannot breathe, feel numb on the left side of your body, call 911 right now.It could be a heart attack and you have to go to the meergency room now.NOW.

If not then it's probably too much fatigue/heat shock or both.

Take an aspirin, get some ice packs and grip one with each hand.Put another one on your forehead (or a wet towel)Drink as much cold fluids as you can comfortably drink without the danger of vomiting.Try not to lose control of the situatuion. You have to keep your mind even in the most dangerous situations.
Best of luck.

In that scenario - Logging onto a message board would have been the last thing on my list to do.

I dont know how long ago you posted this but...drink ice water frist, put ice packs under both armpits and behind your neck, and or groin...next when you start feeling a little better drink some OJ or gadoraid

Dude hasn't replied, hope he's ok.............. :worried: :worried:

TRAIN, EAT, LIVE LIKE A ANIMAL!!

Did you just inject recently? If so did you aspirate? All those things you are explaining is what I keep hearing are symptoms of hitting a vein. Play it safe man! AT the very least call a friend over to hang with you until you are chilled out!

Yeah, you probably need to chill out in this heat and take a cold shower to calm your body down, thats what nfl players do, shock their muscles and bodys to keep their temp regulated. Get some cold towels and keep yourself mentally stable. I remember one time as a young cat someone laced some coke with some weed and I didn't know it, smoked it was and was trippin son. Threw up and did some crazy shit, lay'd there on the bathroom floor until like 3 in the mroning and then got up after the party was over and drove back to the dorms. Shit was imbarrissing, but it was all a mental thing and scariest shit ever. I thought I was going to die... haha, anyways, enough about my college shit.... whats good, you ok?

sounds like he got heat exhaustion and then had a panic attack. sure he'll be fine. need to drink gatorade though, once your spent straight water doesn't do jack shit without electrolytes.

Guys I'm back from ER LOL

Thank you very much for all the responses, and just to let yall know, YOU SAVED MY LIFE. I wasn't sure what was going on when I started the thread but the first advices I got were phone a friend, have a phone on your hand, call 911 if you feel to bad, some of you said you'll be ok, is mostly psychological, etc...and that's exactly what I did. I called friend first, I told him I was very bad, he hung up on me to call a doctor friend and told me stay right there, I'll call you back in 2 minutes. AFter that, couldn't handle it, so I called 911. I thought I was going to die...for real!!!! LOL My heart was racing at 140, cold sweat, breathing extremely fast, when Fire Rescue came in I was on the floor almost passing out. And it was severe dehydration plus psychological worries...as soon as paramedics told me how to breath, they tested my BP, was perfect, they did an ECG, came perfect, they told me to relax, breath properly and started feeling better. After about 25 minutes they left but they told me to go to ER just to get other things checked. I went there, they put me an IV for hydration, put me oxygen and slowly my heart came back to normal.

Big mistake....outside temperature felt like 105 degrees, I was running for about 45 minutes and I knew I was sweating a lot but it was more than I could imagine.

Again, thank you folks. I really appreciate your help; it was scary. Thank you specially to OMEGA who was the first to respond immediately to my thread and my PM. Thanks!!!

I get those everyso often, had one last week when i had all my toenails removed, instant coldsweat, superlight headed, dizzy, naseaus, to the point of passing out.......lay down on cold tile floor, drink something cold (OJ works well) and close your eyes and breath deeply, it will pass in a few minutes.
Anxiety is a bitch aint it!

exactly. The psychological part is the worst. LOL I was feeling worst because didn't know what was going on, I thought I was going to die. And the reality was, everything was perfect in terms of blood pressure, ECG, it was just my heart racing and breathing very fast. WHat I don't know, probably from the severe dehydration, my hands were atrofied, and couldn't feel them. I couldn't feel my feet, and in the last minutes before ER arrived I couldn't even move my tongue. But as soon as they were telling me how to breath, telling me that everything was normal, I was feeling better. They told me to go to ER because after 15 minutes stopping running plus 25 minutes they were here, my heart was still in the 130 somethin range...when I got to ER was already at 120, then went down to 110, then with the IV and oxygen went down to the 80s...finally!!!!!

80s bro....? thats not too healthy .... it's a good thing you've been running, but maybe you should wait till it cools off a bit

Good to hear you made it out alive. Make sure you keep fluids matched, ie: every ounce of sweat you have drink 1 oz of water

LOL yeah...not but the thing is...when it was back on the 80s I was able to leave the ER but after that here at home keeps goind down a little bit to more normal and stable levels...but compared to 135-140 where it was when fire rescue came to my house....I was in panic!!

Dude from here on out drink tons of water. If you were ever in the military they would have drilled that in your head but they did teach us that once you are a victim of a heat injury you will always be susceptible to a heat injury. I am way glad you are alright and I am especially glad you id not have heat stroke. But I am sure the doctor schooled you to drink lots of water from here on out. PLus it makes you feel better. Good deal thanks for giving us all a status report! get some rest !

nah, would have happened instantly, didnt describe a cough, & elevated HR not usually part of vein hit scenario

dehydration will exacerbate it bad, you didnt know what was goin on so you paniced, it makes a bad situation MUCH worse. I get it so where my vision fades to white as im headin to the fridge.....i end up basically walking blind almost passing out till i lay down and breath.

I had all my toenails removed because i didnt want to run oral antifungals for 14 weeks just to have it come back again and i didnt want to wait for Vics to work (again, 15-20 weeks).

I was laughing cuz the doc and the nurses were trippin, i went from normal to green and soaked in my own sweat in about 3 minutes. I knew what it was, they were all rushing for ice packs and shit, water, but i was upright laughin in about 5 minutes cuz i knew i was just psychological.

Did you happen to take clen btw??
My heart races at 140bpm for like 12 hours when I go hard on clen the first day. Scares the shit out of me but I just relax and it goes away. I've learned to lighten up on that stuff the first day of a cycle.

if it's not anything to do with your bp or heart, it's usually LOW BLOOD SUGAR. you're right in drinking your oj, when I took Dbols along time ago, i would get like that suddenly when my blood sugar levels dropped. the only thing i could do at work was eat a chocolate cupcake and within a couple of minutes, i was back to normal.
