This is something I absolutely detest doing.

Went to Miami Dade Community College today to work our presentation booth. OMG!!! I was literally the only white person there. Even the wangsta bitches (Icey Hot Stunaz) wouldn't go here. It was like a fucking prison man. This college was a throw back to the "old days" where they posted all the grades on the hall walls and you matched up your SS# to the grade to see what you made. You wouldn't believe the number of F's and D's that were thrown out in Literature and Remedial English. Wait, this was Miami... you WOULD believe it. Fucking sucked man. I was scared to go over and see the other grades.

I abandoned my booth after the first hour. I got tired of people coming up and going "Yo, what yo company is." Or, "dawg, dis where we like da 411 on Marine in-liss-mant?" I am like "Hell no, this is my company name here. Can you read? No of course you can't, I saw your grades earlier".

So I just made two signs that said BROUCHURES and SIGN UP SHEET and left to go to the gym there. It was a small ass gym. I had 2 hours to kill so I did a "pump" = read : light chest workout. It was 15 sets of dumbell flyes (flat) supersetted with incline presses. I thought I was going to get shanked by some skinny ass Hispanic with gold teef and braided hair cause his girl kept looking at me. He would have had to wait until I was benching though, when my hands were full. Cause when I was up, I had him at a disadvantage. I had two hands. He had one. The other one was firmly gripping his belt loops to keep pulling his baggy ass shorts up.

Fucking loserville out there man. I would honestly like to see stats on the number of people who enroll vs. the number of people who actually get their Associate Degree there.

that's the north campus you're probably talking about.

the downtown one and the kendall one are pretty nice.

Here's a better question. Don't you work for a company that recruits doctors and hospital admin.?? What the hell are you sponsoring a career day at a community college??? I did a few career days for Johnson and Johnson, when I was in pharm. sales, and they never had one at a community college.

Here's a better question. Don't you work for a company that recruits doctors and hospital admin.?? What the hell are you sponsoring a career day at a community college??? I did a few career days for Johnson and Johnson, when I was in pharm. sales, and they never had one at a community college.

Because of my company also recruits business majors and lesser types for the telemarketing and medical billing purposes. They ask me to do career day here and at some job fairs (and unemployment centers) due to my background in HR.

I have done pretty much the same fair at Broward Community College before and their students were nowhere near as repulsive.

Then again, just driving to the North Campus is like going through the hood. Liquor stores, pawn shops, etc...

On the billboard right in front of the school was a sign that said (had a picture of a baby on it) big letters DNA TESTING. Find out who the REAL father is.
