haven't tried, but when you click on the Upload photo link in your gallery, try giving a URL (complete with http://) in the field where the BROWSE button is.

This is all made in php, so it should take that link and look for the pic, no matter where it is.

I might be wrong though, since the gallery is hosted by EF and the upload procedure could have designed only to take uploads and not references
