HCG versus HMG...pros & cons

I'm sure this has been covered but you can't search for terms that short. What does HMG do that HCG doesn't? Is one superior just for keeping the boys large while on cycle?

I've been trying to research HMG in depth, but really have't had much time to do so.

The main difference between HMG and HCG is this. Both stimulate and mimic LH, however HMG also stimulates and mimics FSH.

The verdict is still out, but HMG has been said to be less suppressive and less of a chance of raising estrogen levels.

I find HMG just works better. Sometimes when I use HCG, it doesn;t seem to make much of a difference. When I use HMG it's like. Oh yeah. The boys have got some heft now.

I've found 1000iu of HCG to be in the ballpark of 75iu HMG.

On cycle - 500iu of HCG once weekly or 37.5iu of HMG once weekly

PCT - 500iu of HCG twice weekly or 75iu twice weekly

I need aromasin when using HCG because I am very sensitive to the estrogen spike from HCG. I take 25mg ED when using HCG.

HMG I don't have that problem. You will feel much more "recovered" when taking HMG. However, if you feel a nice boost from HCG and don't suffer from the estrogen spike, don't use HMG unless you have to. HMG is considered a last resort in the fertility world...and even though we use these drugs for different reasons I still agree with that logic.

i'm not to the point where i feel like hcg doesn't work well enough for me anymore yet... until then i don't see any need to change over...

I get gyno just shaking hands with a guy on test. I may have to give it a try.
