I've been getting a minor headache for the last couple days, and some tremors, sweaty palms, and increased heart rate for no apparant reason. Are these normal sides of GH? i'm only at day 4 now? at 3IU/day 1.5 morning, 1.5 early afternoon. I've been eating very clean, low GI carbs am, lots of protein and straight fish, chicken, and veggies 6 times a day. I'm taking all my multi vitamens, omega 3,6,9 pills, etc.

no, those arent normal sides and probably should be irrelevant to the GH you are taking.......

At day 4 of 1.5 iu AM and 1.5iu PM---I would think that you would feel--well almost nothing........

If anything, a touch lethargic...........not enough to affect joints or anything yet.....(I dont think)

Just my opinion (since you havent gotten any yet)----plus this will give you a bump for ya.....

I would take a month for GH to get into your system and then you probably would'nt feel much but it's doing it's thing. By month 3 you should feel great from it.If you feel carpel tunnel lower your doseage. What kind is it? Maybe something does'nt agree with you.How old are you too?

well... i'm pretty sure the anxiety problems are most likely comming from the REV xp, even though i'm only poppin 2 of em AM... but the headache i'm not sure about, i've been reading up on it and it's supposed to be a side from gh overdosing, but that's comming from sites on people using GH for GH deficiencies, which is a much smaller dose i would assume. i'm using humatrope from lily which i heard was a very good brand of GH. I'm not too worried about it, i'm cutting out the REV xp just to be sure, but if the headache is from GH will it go away with time? i'm only on day 4, anyone have the headache from GH? thanks for any info!

Hi I&C, these are NOT GH sides...I really can't put my finger on what your problem is. Humatrope is a top brand and even presents less sides than other brands. Headaches can be a sign of BP problems which growth will not usually cause. You are not OD'ing on GH...3ius is a small to medium amount. You may find if you reduce your anxiety about using the substance the ailments may disappear...

my dads been takin 4 iu's of gh a day...he feels great

it is nice to see him in a good mood nearly every day

exspecially since i have to work with the guy

hmm... really the headache is more what i'm concerned about.. it's pretty minor and it feels more of like pressure than actual pain, but my head feels a little hot, maybe i'm just gettin sick. I have no idea

wow... i think i know whats going on. This headache was all too familiar so i had an idea. I went and tried pissin on some left over keto-strips i had from a couple years back and it came out as HEAVY ketosis... wtf, i guess i cut out too many carbs??? and the omega 3,6,9 pills and salmon fillet's took me to ketosis? I've been having 2 slices/day of multigrain bread, cottage cheese.. salad with light dressing. Is this cuz i was such a carb freak b4 eating obscene amounts of pasta, bread, pizza etc that i put myself into ketosis???? ketosis wouldn't really be a good thing while on GH would it, just doesn't seem like a good idea to me right now...

i'm pretty much just replying to myself now but just wanted to let myself know that after eating half a cup of yogurt my headache disappeared in 30 mins... HAHAHA

yah... i didn't do it on purpose, but i just realized i went into ketosis. If i take in more carbs but keep it all low GI then will it keep me out of ketosis without the negative effects of starchy carbs and sugars?

they are pretty common, goto a doc and have your bloodpressure, bloodwork etc done

the sides of GH are heavily overlooked

Wrong! These sides are definitely not common for someone who's only been on gh for 4 days.

You're out of glucose. The only food your brain uses. The GH greatly increases your insulin sensitivity AND you're low carbing. CKD diets are stupid for people who weight train in the first place but you simply can't do that when taking GH.

sorry bro gotta disagree,

"The insulin-resistance effect of growth hormone (GH) administration has been frequently reported. The present study investigated the effect of GH administration on glucose tolerance and muscle GLUT4 protein expression in exercise-trained and untrained rats."

" Furthermore, exercise training completely eliminated this GH-induced insulin resistance as determined 18 h after the last bout of exercise training. Additionally, exercise training significantly increased muscle glycogen storage and GLUT4 protein levels. GH administration did not affect the GLUT4 protein and glycogen storage increases induced by exercise training, but the citrate synthase activity in the plantaris muscle was further elevated by GH administration to a level above that induced by training"

edit- here's another study done an female humans:

"A tendency was seen towards fasting hyperinsulinism (>25 uLI/ml) in patients on hGH and hGH+Ox, with more pronounced insulin resistance (IR1<7, IR2>5) in girls on the combined therapy."

"Insulin resistance or the impairment of insulin capability to decrease blood glucose levels is seen in approximately 25% of girls with Turner syndrome (TS). Growth hormone (hGH), especially when administered at pharmacological doses, may additionally negatively affect the carbohydrate metabolism in TS girls"

"Glucose intolerance (IGT) in OGTT, normally seen in 12.5% of untreated girls, was not intensified following a 6-month hGH or Ox therapy"
