Honestly, I dont buy that. Unless someone is a habitual cheater (usually pretty evident before you get serious w/them and then you either accept it or move on) usually both have *some* responsibility.

People cheat because of how that other person makes them feel about themselves, something that they no longer feel when they are with their mate. I am NOT defending the cheater but to say that there weren't signs that something was amiss in the relationship is usually DENIAL.

I still disagree to some extent as I believe (I could be wrong) that individuals are either wired to be faithfull or not.

If you know your lady (or you) are hard-wired to stray then it's better to be honest and have a somewhat open relationship or not let the occasional tryst rattle you. If infidelity occurs (and you and your partner are the type to be faithfull) then it is best for BOTH to address what the issue is and resolve it and move forward. It seems fairly straight-forward to me.
