There are so many factors about muscle growth and steroid use and hormonal manipulation that still are unknown. And many things "the book" says, just don't add up. I've spent my life addressing many of those things. I don't know if it's an artistic approach or a scientific one. Maybe I'm just a stubborn son of a bitch and if the pieces don't fit I want to find out why. In doing so, I'd like to think that I've discovered a fair share of applications that make the process more production and in doing so, has helped others. But controversy is rarely embraced. It takes time to settle in, become evaluated, discussed, debated, and maybe if it's got some validity, it changes the way people look at things from there on. I live for that.
Having said that, let's talk about balls!
(Only here can such a topic be considered viable).
That's right, balls. We got 'em. We love 'em. And they are at the bottom (pun intended) of what makes us men, and makes our muscles grow. They also take a hell of a lot of abuse from anabolic androgenic steroids. We all know about atrophy and the reasons behind it. But sometimes...things seem to happen that just don't follow suit. They go against the grain. This is where I have an issue with the egg heads who don't use steroids. Sure, I'd rather listen to Big Cat than some lunkhead who just fills the syringe to the top and doesn't know what's doing what. But unless you analyze the ways these compounds work first hand, you'll always be missing part of the equation.
So here's my scenario. I'm on HRT and I don't really experience testicular atrophy much. Very slight. So every 2 months I d a little HCG - human chorionic gonadotropin - and boom, back to normal. The week I use the HCG I don't take my weekly shot of T, reason being, I like to use a holistic approach of sorts -- let the body do as much of the work as possible. This is vital to get the most out of HRT. The idea isn't to rely on the exo T, but to use it as support. Incidentally, I do the same thing with my thyroid. I use the lowest dose of Armour and then use supplements to support my thyroid naturally. After 5 years, I've never had to raise my dosage. The body works best when it's doing what it's supposed to do. Same with testosterone. Even though you may be getting more than you can ever make by using gear, the body still works best when it isn't shut down. Anyway, on to the discovery.
After about 10 days after the HcG, I start to "feel " as if I need more T. My body has gotten used to a healthy level and I know when it's getting too low. The curious thing is, at this time, my testes start to shrink a bit. is it the HcG wearing off? Maybe. But then when I do my shot -- WHAPPO, they plump up again. Now, if the testes shut off when exo T is added, what just happend here? Has anyone else noticed a bigger hanging sack AFTER taking their shot?
My theory is this. There's more to Endo T and outright ball size than the amount of steroids you use. It's also about libido. It's about the brain. That extra T boosts my libido which in turn gives a signal to the boys to get ready for some spritzin.'
This is just a tiny example of the body reacting in a way that doesn't make sense on the surface, but of course there's a reason for everything. There's so much we don't know. After all, there's very little legitimate study of this stuff.
So does anyone notice more testicular atrophy when "off" than "on." Or the better question might be, has anyone noticed no atrophy or an even BIGGER sack when on? Strange question I know but somebody had to ask it. It just might be a clue to a host of other theories in the making.
