Has anyone here ever just gotten tired?

Sometimes in life, when it rains it pours. I find myself in that situation right now. Several times in my life, up to this point, I have pulled myself up by my bootstraps and fought through adversity and trying times. However, now, I find that I am just too tired of fighting to put the effort out there. I just want to give up and let things go the way they go. Anyone else ever just felt like giving up? I sure as hell do right now.

Screw that...I wouldn't give them the benefit of knowing they beat me!

Take a break and come back harder and stronger with a fuck you attitude...

Your a winner!

Yeah, Katrina has me feeling that way now. Although I wasn't totally wiped out like many in my area ... the devastation to my region is very depressing.

The daily struggles of life are magnified by the aftermath of the biggest natural disaster in U.S. history.

I don't mean for this to be a "woe is me" thread. I just find myself in the unfamiliar situation of just not having the strength to deal with what is going on right now.

I want to do something great that will be remembered for centuries. None of the struggling will matter then when I can figure out what the fuck it is.

dude, draw on your faith...

Yes....to the point I was having straight up anxiety attacks that I would not wish on anyone.

I just stepped back and looked at what was really important and healthy for me and how I lived my life then made major changes.

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until
we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Feeling that way myself recently. Seems like the things that I've been "dealing with" and "getting over" for a while are beating me right now. Quite the disgusting feeling actually. Too bad I can't drink....a bottle of wine would be great right now.

Anyway...what's getting you down?

I hear ya. I am in that exact position right now. I was in it a week ago, then this past weekend, the rebuilt tranny I got in march of this year craps out on me. I was like MOTHAFUCKA what is next and do i really even give a shit anymore. It just seems to become overwhelming sometimes.

I like to sleep a lot and not do anything now a days.

There are many places to find untapped strength. When the time is right, you will feel it. As for now, ride the wave and see how far it takes you.

I found strength at the bottom of a dark hole, while trapped inside a vacuum. It took me 6 months to dig that hole and it was a memorable and long experience! :Chef: :tuc:

P.S. Do minutes seem like days?

Yes, but you must never give up. That's probably how many of the people living on the street got there. What's going on?

What is causing your -dv/dt? Isolate it or lubricate it to continue motion. Its not the absence of force that is causing your decelleration it is the presence of a force opposing your motion.

Draw on the faith you have in yourself to beat what is going on in your life right now.

I have a feeling reaching out to others isn't your thing. But, if you have friends to call or hang with. Do that. Don't sit in the house feeling sorry for yourself.

Eventually, you just have to say fuck it. Look at the situation and make the best of it. Look for other opportunities that will bring you happiness.
