We are planning a trip to the Hamptons next weekend (Aug 16-18). Does anyone have any helpful info as in where to stay, go out (clubs), etc? We are planning to visit Neptune's Saturday day, but other than that have no plans as of yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

Well, Baldbull, thank you for such a helpful comment. As a frequent visitor to both SF and temps, I was hoping to try something new. I think I may just have to listen to your keen advice and stay home now. I appreciate you keeping me from making the mistake of visiting the Hamptons.

I heard Star Room was a good time. Was kind of music do they play/what are the people like? We are definitely going to Neptune's on Saturday. What is the Tavern?
