Hammer Curl Pain

Today when doing hammer curls (just an hour ago, actually) on my Bi/Tri workout day on the 5x5 routine, I did 2 sets of 8-10 hammer curls to finish everything off.

My right wrist had this irritating, kind of painful twitch or nerve-like pain in it. I can't explain it exactly. I don't think it's a tendon problem, but maybe something else. All I know is, everytime I neared the top of the movement, the upper-left part of the wrist got this pain.
 
I can't tell you how many times I've answered this question in the past few weeks. I should make a sticky. :)

Anyway, it's basically the equivalent of shin splints in your forearms.

1) Strengthen your foreams
2) Lower the weight for a bit
3) Hammer Curls dont help it
 
so what causes the shin splints in your forearms.
reason is i have both, shin splints and forearm splints....
is there any supps i can take, i've heard of glucosamine.
anything better?
