yeah i've read about FUE & if i was going to do an HT that is the only way I'd go... my only though of gh - growth hormone (somatropin) - was to aid in recovery
HTs take around 6 months to start growing in and up to a year to see full results... I wondered if GH would speed this up
In truth I don't know, I would think not. But, I could be wrong.
Like I said though I would not try to rush anything...
BTW... I meant to ask you do you shave your head?
The reason I ask is 2 fold.
1) If you do and you go into the procedure with 2 - 3 days of growth it make the whole thing run smoother. Since, you have a clean and clear canvas to work with instead of the Dr. having to push grown hairs out of the way, they don't have to shave the donor area, etc...
2) If you shave your head the follicules will already be in a more rapid growth stage. This will also improve the bounce back time on the hair regrowth after surgery, strength and thickness of the hair. I've seen some guys end up keeping 50% - 70% of the hair post surgery (after 14 th day) because of this practice. I myself being one of them, I still shaved my head for I'd say 2-3 mos after. Then I let it grow in, and it did just fine. It was like magic I'd see little stubble start showing here and there.
Now, the one thing I did do was use a product called Revivogen, if you can't find it PM me and I point you in the right direction. I also took folic acid, which is what pregnant women take it for a healthy baby, and alot of the ones I've talked too have noticed that their nails and hair grow faster and stronger after adding it to their prenatal care.
Keep us in the know, so we can see what you do, and how things turn out. Take care...
