hair thinning question

hanibal

New member
i'm not prone to MPB and never had a problem w/ thinning hair. started using AS 12 years ago, never a problem. until now. i'm starting to see slight thinning around front area. i am on a few things known to cause this but my father, his father and my other grandfather all have/had full hair. never expected anything. i'm on week 10 of primo, 750mg/week, week 6 of proviron, 50mg/day and day 4 of oral winny at 50mg/day. did 300mg/week prop and 200mg/week tren first 6 weeks of cycle too. i want to stop proviron now but i know libido will be shit. don't want to go back on test. i have 3-4 more weeks of primo and winny. how long should someone stay on proviron? if i stop it what can i do for libido? what can i do for thinning hair until my cycle ends?

That sounds like a pretty vicious hair thinning cycle bro! Check out xandrox.com for good topicals. You'll have to fill out a form and get a script, but it's easy.

Bro be smart and safe about your body, take care of what you are using and use preventive measures, do your home work.

finasteride!, and the winny, tren, prop, proviron arnt helping the hairloss, especially winny/tren....

bro ,i did a much weeker cycle of anavar then added primo then winny and i notice hair thining big time im 36 and had all my hair,i thout after cycle my hair was gona stop from falling ,so i took like 5 weeks off and it got worst,it wont stop falling now, i been off 6 weeks it stop,s and then in a few days i feel like im on winny ,all sweety on the back and i rub hands in my head i just counted 40 pieces and is falling mad ,and it wont stop ,i think im kiising my hair good by,, good luck to u but once u triger that ,is hard to get it to stop..

Sounds like TE. If you're off cycle, get on finasteride and topical xandrox asap! This will allow the follicles to go undamaged, and possibly regrow a lot of your hair over time.

MPB is only carried on the X chromosome. Your father gave you a Y instead of an X (thats why you're male instead of female)...same with his father and his father's father... So if you want to look for evidence of inhereting the MPB gene...look at the men on your MOTHER'S side of your family. Nobody has ever gotten a baldness gene from their dad. :chomp:

mendo i am trying to conceal my fury at your stupid post, i know your a good guy and shit and i like reading your posts but this one i cant let slide. me and my brother have different father's, im bald just like my father and my brother has a full head of hair. so for the last YOU GET THE BALD GENE FROM YOUR FATHER.

First off calm down you little pecker. You act like he sunk the titanic with your mom on it. If you got a beef with his post, then don't just insult him, post up some FACTS that say otherwise. Until then change your attitude slut.

Sorry Mendo, I respect you....but your post here is complete nonsence!

My Grandfather on my mother's side had a full head of hair as did his son (my uncle) all their lives. My father had MPB and I also have it.

Glad you think I'm a good guy. I don't take it personally that you think it was a stupid post. We obviously have diff opinions about this issue. No problem.

Let me explain my view: I am in my second year of Vet school and do a lot of work with evolutionary genetics and heredity. The fact is -- all knwon human MPB genes are in fact ONLY carried on the X chromosome. If you don't believe me...look into it...as most intro-level genetics textbooks use MPB and colorblindness as examples of a sex-linked allele. The reason you and your brother have different baldness genes is because your mother has 2 X chromosomes (women are XX...men are XY), so apparently she was heterozygous for the MPB allele (one X had the MPB gene, the other didn't)...meaning that you got a different X than your brother from the same woman.

Thanks, RR. I respect you too. The genetics of a sex-linked pedigree are usually complicated. Those are the problems that come late in a genetics textbook. Just remember that a woman can either have 2 MPB genes, 1 MPB gene, or none. So the pattern of baldness in the family can end up looking complicated, because some men inheret it and others don't from the same woman.

Mendo - typical women!!!

I think cloning is what we're all holding out for anyhow. Had a hair transplant. It was good. Good, but not excellent. When there is a cure for MPB it'll be a serious money spinner

LOL. Yeah whoever cures it will be living large! I should clarify that there are actually many genes that control MPB, and it takes the effects of all of them combined to determine if you will be bald...and how bald. MOST are carried on the X, but not all (some are autosomal...meaning they are on other chromosomes besides the X and Y). But as far as we know...NONE are carried on the Y. So a father cannot pass MPB to his son. He can pass it to his grandson through his daughter though....

I can vouch that what you just said is true. I have a friend who's younger brother is completely bald on top. However, my friend has a fully thick head of hair.

Basically what he is saying is that you get it from your mother's side. Good post!

I have used crushed avodart tabs along with emu oil to make a nice regrowth topical combo.

I guess you could also use Phlojel for this purpose. The problem with home-made formulae like these is you never know exactly how much of the drug is getting absorbed systemically.

Does anyone else find it humorous when education beats out rage?

you guys can have refrences, quotes, excerps, opinions or what have you but at the end of the day the FACTS AND REALITY will tell all. i dont care what or who told you that you get the bald gene from x,h,p double q to the tenth power, at the end of the day i know where i got my baldness from

Haha....are you denying scientific evidence that shows otherwise? I guess we should all just say screw science and believe whatever we want?

To each his own. I have to say -- when I walk outside and look around, the world really does look flat to me. But I don't deny that we live on a round planet. The fact is, none of us would be juicing...shit, many of us would be dead...except for science.

Come on man, where are these facts to dispute mendo? I am interested in seeing both sides of this issue so please post up your info. Come on man it's hammer time.

the proof is right in front of my mirror, my brother who has a different father has a full crop of hair, i on the other hand look IDENTICLE to my pops our hairloss is identicle. THERES THE PROOF.

are you guys naive? or just want to believe some old wives tale to help cope.

Just as I suspected, no facts, just a concocted opinion. These other guys are putting up FACTS and you tell us you know what fact is because of what you ONE PERSON see in the mirror?!?! OK, keep that bald little dome of yours buried in the sand.

Science is not "wives tales". Besides, I think this was addresses in a previous post.

are you guys bald/balding? in not then STFU.

No I shave my head but I still have a nice head of hair down in there whenever I decide to grow it back. :qt: MPB doesn't run in my family. You see, MPB runs on your mothers side of the family and my grandfather had a full head of hair so I have nothing to worry about.

I'm still waiting for those "facts" you say you have that can show mendo, krishna, etc are not correct.

Until you can present those "facts"............I think YOU need to STFU.

:FRlol:

if its passed on by mothers then why is my brother's hair IN TACT? like i said we have different biological father's,answer that one for me genious

Like all other hair threads this one has completely gone every wich way but there is still not a good answer on how to combat the ole receding hairline problem from juicing.

Nice try but you are not going to turn this on me. For the last time, PUT UP SOME FACTS TO SUPPORT YOUR THEORY OR STFU.

You haven't done so because you can't. You came in here blasting away on mendo without anything other than your opinion and now you are mad because I called you on it. If you apologize to Mendo I will drop it. :)

And you spelled genius wrong

because your mom has TWO x chromosomes.

Your brother inherited one, you inherited the OTHER. I thought this was already explained to you.

So your mom could have eaily carried it.

i didnt know that alwayson, so i got the unlucky roll of the dice and got snake eyes. i will look into this further and post some factsm but not right now im too busy. what do you guys think about cloning that gonna be available soon for a heft price tag

Thank you Chefbone and thank you alwayson. You guys rock.

with all those androgenic drugs and DHT stuff in your cycle, i'd be a tad more concerened about my prostate than with my hair. You should consider having a PSA test done.

needtogatas, chefbobe anda few other's need an attitude adjustment, i cant believe elite has these estrogen queens posting here

i am going to start a cycle soon of test cyp real deca proviron and winny, what should i do about the hair thing

I would suggest you take some arimidex, but that may not be such a good idea if you have deca in your stack. Actually that is definately not a good stack for a guy concerned about hairloss bro... Is this your first cycle? Maybe you should stick to just test with adex, or Tbol/test with adex.

Oops, I meant finasteride...not adex. Test + finasteride would be a hair friendly stack...

Any hair loss is permanent with gear. My first heavy test and dec cycle years back caused it.... 400mg per week each. By my eighth week... I actually noticed the perm damage.

My opinion... If it's bothering you that bad... Drop the high androgenic property products (test) etc.

Propecia (hair loss med) comes in a 1mg tab. The same company makes Proscar for prostate stuff... Which comes in a 5mg tab. (SAME EXACT STUFF... Different strength only) If you talk to your dr about this... He/she will easily prescribe the Proscar which is much more affordable.

Most insurance companies don't cover Propecia... But they do cover Proscar. So you can get a full scrip for your co-pay.

This is not necessarily true. If one has taken precautionary measures against hair loss (and is doing it RIGHT) then you can salvage a lot of hair that was caused to shed by TE. I think in most cases though you're not far off as hair loss is very hard to combat once it's started.
