Hair loss. Nizoral Shampoo

Not to get too metrosexual on here but I have used Nioxin shampoo for a few years after a hair stylist told me it is a great over all shampoo. It just so happens that it helps to remove DHT from your scalp and was made for guys with thinning hair/hair loss, etc. I prefer that for everyday use and I buy it at the WalMart hair place. I get the big bottle for about $23 or so and it last me for a long time. I shampoo every other day and just rise inbetween unless I got unusually funky. I then add Nizoral to my regimine twice a week when on. I am not prone to MPB, and all my hair is there. Plus I don't get itchy scalp....I hate that. For regular everyday use, I can't say enough about Nioxin.

Ill never use proviron then again.. I only used it once in high doses for about 25 days.

What do you mean Radar about ruining your hair....you got a nice full head of hair....? Did it temporarily start to fade...? You got a transplant or something...?
'''Privirion was the only compound that affected me ...so i started Nizoral & it stopped , this is my natural hair
i had hair all over by bed every morning, it was thinning out as i could see my scalp thru iot, it has since grown back/
Yes you can use Nizoral every day if you wish, i did for 3 weeks the alternate every other day now.

I have been using OTC nizoral as my regular shampoo for the past 4 years. I switched to 2% recently after a heavy primo run. Go get some Nioxin too and alternate days.

why dont you guys wash your hair every day??? lol

I was told in high school by my dermatologist that washing your hair every day strips your scalp of too much of the oils and what not and drys it out making for unhealthy, itchy, flaky scalp. Unless you are digging a ditch and get it all dirty, washing it EOD works well for me. I have a typical military cut so a good rinse on your average work day is more than enough. He alsotold me the same thing about washing my face. I only use soap on my face EOD and have always had 90% clear skin. That may be genetics, but I hate that dry skin feel, especially in the winter.
