For what reason? That pretty much alters how I feel about terminations. If they were being a tool, fuck 'em.
Lack of performance. Poor (in my opinion) attitude. Just wasnt a good fit for what were doing.
I felt bad because when we started our firm I had brought him over from my previous company (he and I worked together occasionally before). Were building a company from the ground up and he was still stuck in that Fortune 100 mindset I guess.

That's because you're too cheap to hire anyone to help make smoothies...
I just fired one out in the ladies restroom
When I got my first management promotion at CW I had to fire 4 people on what was basically my first day on the job. That sucked.
I just fired one out in the ladies restroom
Why did you fire them?

loloolI just fired one out in the ladies restroom
but when it comes to firing people, well, lest we not forget, people actually fire themselves.
true. but in my experience it takes more than just the manager to actually get approval to fire someone. i.e HR and directors too. there's quite a bit that goes into firing someone when you have an HR dept running things in your company. like, 85 million chances to get it right before you can actually drop the ax.unless you got crappy managers who screw up and lay blame on the employees and then fire them just they can save their butt and lay the blame on someone else.
Office politics are at an all-time high nowadays. It's a warzone out there among the office fatties.

just another reason why I'm glad I'm not in management any longer.
