Had to get that last rep. (Knee problem)

Did 285x5 today. I was tired as hell on the 4th pull, but I tried for the 5th anyway since I wanted to beat last weeks record of 4 pulls.

One the 5th pull I sorta strained my left knee. It was sorta a quick pain. Not too sharp, but not dull either. The knee doesn't hurt right now, but I'm concerned.

Does this happend during deadlift? I notice that when I drive my legs into the floor during the pull I experience a little pain sometimes in my knees. Is this normal?

Should I rest up due to this? I was going to squat the day after tomorrow, but now I'm concerned.
 
Whenever something like that happens to me Im sure to rest up. I made the mistake of pushing through it once or twice before and it only got worse.

One week without squats wont kill you.
 
After having knee surgery for a severley torn meniscus, and still having a slightly torn meniscus in my other knee along with a torn acl.....I can tell you this with knees, if it hurts dont do it.
Its likely a strain or pull. But you didnt say where in the knee it happened?? If your knee doesnt hurt then try to squat but warm up real light and work the weight up slowly. If it starts to hurt or pull or anything then stop and take a week off. If the problem doesnt go away or especially gets worse, dont fuck around, go get an MRI. Dont piss around with x-rays they wont show anything.
