Had a great leg night lastnight. I have been back to training legs for 4 weeks now. Hadn't trained them in over a year due to me breaking both ankles last year. To most of the guys on here it isn't that big of a deal but i moved up to 250lbs for 5x5. i was pretty stoked about it (then imediately had to run to the bathroom to prevent shitting myself!!! lol) my goal is to hit 300lbs 5x5 in the next 4 weeks.

stats;

25yrs old
5'11"
175lbs

Bro, BRAVO! I know exactly where you are coming from. I was in a car accident about a year and a half ago... and I've been having to work rehab on my legs (including PT post surgery). Your being back to 250 lbs is a major accomplishment.

Even more important... your having the drive and will power to make that happen really shows the kind of person you have become as an adult. That strength of character will take you far in this world.

The hardest obstacle ahead of you is DO NOT OVER DO. Just like you've worked hard to get this far.. you now need to work hard to not do to much. Set backs from pushing too hard too soon are a real hinderance.

do you were brackes or anything like that on your ankles? i messed up mine almost a year ago, and still have to wear an aircast.

Great Job! I can relate also. I fractured my hip about a year ago and was on crutches through April... training legs is my favorite!

Keep it up!

thanks everybody!

i've gotten away from any kind of braces. i was still using them to play bball but since i've gotten back in the gym i stopped.

wootwoot 300 here i come!!!!!!!!

Just an update...........hit 285 5x5 tuesday. it felt killer.

Good job your at 300 now if you want it! Legs are hard to train with any intensity, thats why you go to most gyms and see most people dont train them correctly or skip them.
