today was leg day and my partner couldnt make it so i did it myself, but because i am still learning, i didnt wanna do my squats without a spotter etc.
so i thought id try the squat machine, and it said hacksquats on it.
i had no idea how i was supposed to do it, or even get it off the rest thing, so i just stood there for like 5 minutes reading the instructions on it but not comprehending...
finally i was like fuckit, and did them and figured it out...i loaded up the weight i normally use for squats, and it kept not being enough, and i kept adding and adding thinking okay, this will be enough, and ending up doing way more reps with them.
finally i had 3 plates and then some on each side and realized i had fucked up my squat sets, and that it was more like a standing legpress
so whats the deal with these hacksquats? is it a legpress, or is it a squat? and whats a good weight for them (in comparison to squats vs legpress)
