H.I.T. training

Im new to the board, and want to know more about the HIT training method, i know there is probably an old post outlining exactly what exercises to do and when to do them, anyone wanna give me a clue?
 
There's a list of some training methods at the top of the board, in a sticky. I'll bump this for some more info. I've not done anything close to HIT in years, but I'm sure someone around here has.
 
cyberpump.com is a great resource for learning about HIT, and I'm sure debaser can give you some direct links to good HIT articles if he reads this post.

I don't agree with some of the HIt tennants like 'no rest between sets' or 'one set is sufficient to stimulate muscle growth' but you can pick & mix what works from the methodology and discard the rest.

an example canned HIT routine (old school HIT) would be something like this.

Squats 1 x 20 - first 10 done continuous then the last 10 rest/pause with the bar on your back

Stiff leg deadlifts 1 x 15
Crunches 1 x 10
Calf raise 1 x 10
Bench Press 1 x 10
Chin 1 x 10
Shoulder press 1 x 10
Row 1 x 10
Dip 1 x 10
Curl 1 x 10

All sets to positive failure apart from the stiff leg deadlift

Do that 2-3 times a week. It's nice for an occasional change of pace but I don't think it's the be-all and end-all of training.
