Gyno so fast??

I started my first cycle Sunday (4 days ago), 375mg of Test cyp. Yesterday, I noticed a small mass a little above my left nipple. There's no sensitivity in the mass, but I read that doesn't occur in every case.Yesterday, I started taking liquidex .5mg ED and I ordered some letro which should arrive tomorrow or monday. Is it possible for this to have formed so soon after my first shot?

As background, I'm pretty sure I had pre-existing pubetal gyno. I've always stored more fat in my chest than other guys my size, and I never really minded because it just made my pecs look bigger. Also, in the last 3 years I've done pro hormones a couple of times and never did any kind of pct or AI during, not knowing any better. It could be possible that the mass has been around and I just never noticed it.

I'm 5'10", 195lbs, 11%bf, and have been lifting seriously for almost 4 years, starting at 140 pounds. I was planning to do the test and liquidex for 12 weeks and use novladex for
PCT for 4 weeks. Is there anything else I should be doing, in addition to the letro? I really thank you guys for the support and information. This board has been a great resource!

Gyno 4 days after a Cyp injection? I highly doubt that. The ester hasn't even completely released the hormone yet. Your Test levels would barely even be higher at that point.

I would say it's from a previous cycle and you never noticed it. Keep a close eye on it and use the letro to blast it away.

OK, tacking onto my original question.... since I just started this cycle, should I be taking the letro while on cycle, or should I wait until the last couple weeks of the cycle to start the letro? Will the adex I'm taking keep the pre-existing gyno from developing any further until the end of my cycle? There seem to be two schools of thought on the subject. Thanks!

Before I go on, keep in mind that estrogen is GOOD...in the right amounts.

OK, now that we've got that out of the way it will help me to explain my thoughts.

You are going to need to blast that gyno away at some point in time. You are going to need to use Letro, which kills off just about all estrogen. Seeing as you have already started your cycle, there is no 'perfect' time to start using the Letro. You either use it mid-cycle and deal with the sides, or you run it post cycle and hamper your recovery somewhat (The more balanced your hormones during PCT, the easier it will be to recover PROPERLY)

Personally, I would:

  • Start the Letro immediately (Start at .25mg ED and taper up - 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 - until it is gone. Once it has disappeared, taper off over a few days to make sure it's gone and doesn't reappear. I.e 2.5, 1.5, 1, 0.5)
  • Drop the Liquidex while you are running the Letro.
  • Once the lump has disappeared, DO NOT start any more AI's unless gyno symptoms appear.

I am a firm believer that you should NOT run any AI's as a precautionary measure unless you are so gyno prone that you simply can't run a cycle with getting signs of gyno.

My concerns with starting the letro now were that the joint pain would keep me from lifting heavy and the estrogen rebound would mean I would have to run novaldex after the letro and before my PCT. Are those issues valid?

yes, i was afraid to even go into the gym while on letro, my shoulders were wrecked. of course ive had 3 surgeries years ago and that might have something to do with it. but it will definetely affect you.

So do you still have to use Nolvadex after Letro? DO you Always have to use it after or just in some cases?
