gym problem- how to say he cant work in?

Some good advice here. I've never had anyone ask to work in with me, so not sure how to deal with a guy like this. I'm normally friendly to everyone in the guy, smile wave, etc... but in this case I would have to be like, "Look man, I am a serious bodybuilder, and you are making me take too much time between sets working in with me. Since you obviously want to play and are not serious about your physique, go pester someone else. Thanks."

Or you could also tell him..."Stop trying to hit on me! I am not interested in your tiny penis!" Because we all know that is what is really going on here.

God who works in with a woman on squats. At my gym there is only one girl who even squats half as decently (she does 455 for reps).

this guy sounds like he was really intentionally taking advantage of you.

Try "Fuck off and die!"

Then bat your eyes at him. :qt:

just tell the schmoe, "by the time you finish getting off your phone, i should be done....you know how some localities you can't drive and talk on the cell phone..?? they just passed a similar law in the gym.. can't talk on the phone will working out...."

OK for my real advice. Tell him "I'm Sorry but I like to take short rests so you working in would throw off my timing. I should be done pretty soon and you can have the rack when I am done"

Or something to that effect.

Lay out your vial of testosterone, needle(s) and/or syringe and just say "Want some ?"

Tell him no, you only have one more set. And keep telling him that after every set.
I would probably do this, except say I have a couple of sets left. Or just say that you don't like to take long rests between sets and that there is no way to avoid that changing weights.

Or start to say that and then look at his body and say that it shouldn't be a problem with him working in since you shouldn't have to change weights.

I know you get that when you work out with the local geriatrics. :)
