For co-workers, try to match a gift card to their personality. I know one of my fave gift cards last year was for my local cineplex, since I love movies. Another I really enjoyed was a gift card for the place us guys meet up to watch UFC pay-per-views, since we eat and drink constantly during the fights. Gift cards kick ass when you put some thougth into them.

Derek is a good bro. but i wasn't exactly thinking of him specifically when i made this thread, but just the dudes in my life in general. i have no idea what i should get some of them. like a coworker for example. i know its early but i wanna start my shopping soon as to avoid the Christmas rush.


P.S. Prinscesa i feel ya on that. i would love to get together with a particular dear friend of mine for a nice vacation.

Yeah, vacations with valued friends are nice. I agree.

On having to shop for females, yeah... I don't have to worry bout this, cause like I only now have 2 IRL females that I would consider close friends in my area. Ex kinda killed my approval rating with all her friends, that were kinda my friends as well too. It sucks when you lose casual friends over this kinda thing. Oh well, anyway, what are you getting D? -If you don't mind me asking?-

sorry to hear that Ariel. yeah it does suck big time when that happens. As for Derek, i haven't really decided what to get him. one of his hobbies is tinkering with things, for him, he takes things apart and puts them back together, adds something here and there or remove something and so on. so maybe buy him some components for whatever he'll be working on at that time, or a just a gift card to a store that has those appliances he'll need and then he could pick for himself.

he also likes fishing. we went to a huge fishing lake a few weeks ago(my first time going fishing) and he tried to teach me. lets just say the boat was rocking! lol-its harder than it looks! it was fun though.
anyways i was thinking fisherman stuff. there's an antique shop that i just discovered, really digging it, has some awesome, interesting items there.
