Guys, How Important Is BCAA's & Glutamine When Dieting & Doing Cardio???

Guys, how important are BCAA's & Glutamine when dieting? Are they MUST HAVE supplements before doing cardio? I plan on doing cardio in the morning on an empty stomach with 5 grams of Glutamine 15-30 minutes before. Do I need the BCAA's? Or should I just have a Whey Protein shake before? What do you think??? Any personal experiences are appreciated...

BCAA's are a good idea. However, I would not take the glutamine or protein before your morning cardio. Save both for after and do the cardio on an empty stomach. Essential Amino Acids play a key role in muscle preservation when dieting.

Personally, I take 30g of whey in a gatorade bottle and start drinking it when I still have 15min to go on the weights. By the time I start the cardio, the amino acids should be starting to circulate.

When I do good financially, I add 5g glutamine pre cardio and post cardio.

What if you do traditional cardio in the morning(25-45 minutes), which I plan on doing to lose ALOT of bodyfat? Should I have a Whey protein shake(166.5 calories, 33 grams of protein, 3 grams of carbs, 1.5 grams of fat, 6 grams of glutamine & 5 grams of BCAA's) 30 minutes before doing the cardio with an extra 5 grams of glutamine to help preserve muscle? Note:The 6 grams of glutamine & 5 grams of BCAA's are naturally occuring in the Whey. What do you think???
