Guy at my gym asking me about roids

He was talking about dbol and winny. Not cool. He didn't know much about training, either.

Told him I didn't use that stuff. I didn't play dumb, though. He said he wanted to try deca and I told him it tends to make people sexually dysfunctional. I couldn't really say much. I talked about possible liver and cholesterol problems and the importance of bloodwork.

It was an uncomfortable situation. Right there on the gym floor.

I tried to switch the topic to workout routines, which is something I like to talk about.

Probably some of the guys at my gym can tell I juice and those who can't tell automatically assume so. I've been accused of it for years, tho I just finished my first real cycle. I don't want people thinking that I'm a source. I don't want others to think that steroids are a good choice. Steroids are complicated. They can have large side effects, and monitoring and managing these side effects is not easy or crystal clear (psa, sgot, sgpt, LDL, BP).

I don't know what to do if this happens again.

I hate guys like that.

Bad fucking form to decide to try and "chat" with me about gear while i am in the middle of a work-out.

It's like asking someone about their sex life...you had better be a good buddy or be ready for a short and curt reply

yea. definately an awkward situation. best bet is to always keep the juice talk behind closed doors and outta the gym.

i think this topic is something a lot of guys at gyms want to talk about but are afraid to. i have a friend at my gym who i have talked to casually for a couple years and the other day i brought up AAS. he was more than obliged to tell me about his test/deca use and thinks half the guys at our gym juice (if not more).

i go to a world's gym (used to be golds) so there are a lot of decent sized guys. every so often you will see someone that looks like a pro but most guys are just in very good shape. who knew roid use was so common?

This happened to me about 3 weeks ago. Saw a friend and an acquaintence and then shot the shit for a while. AAS came up and they got a little loud about it. I had to just walk away, other people dont need to know about these things. AAS talk shouldnt be in the gym eventhough it is the most likely place people will want to talk about it.

IF you dont know em bro ... dont get into it ... especially at the gym. Just tell them that you can royally fuckyourself up using that shit if you dont know what you are doing. Dont fess up to just any stranger bro... and defintately not in your gym.

Well im ok, because the gym i go to - Everyone is on the Juice!
I dont get what all your problems are with the 'FEDS' etc

Is juice REALLY that illegal in the states ?

no...they'll only send you half way to jail

Well I think that just sucks. You people must live around loads of grasses - i couldnt deal with that. Drugs are pretty much prolific where I live, and everyone just minds their own. I dont think steroids are seen as such a big issue here in uk.

Tell him to piss off. I don't even tell my "best friends". Thanks GOD too, one of these guys and I had a falling out. I thank GOD everyday I never said anything too him.

Whenever someone asks me about roids I say "its like cheating, eventually it'll catch up to you, and you'll regret it..." lol

Ive had a few buddies even be idiots and try to initiate conversation about it infront of people I hardly know, thats why I have about 3 people other then my family who know I use

Best to be very careful. In areas where the climate is warmer, undercovers are known to lurk about. Sometimes easy to spot if your a gym regular - sometimes not so. Hell, steroids are cheating and cheaters never win...right? Hey, muscleup isn't that right? I think your best not to share your thoughts on the subject. Just as in bodybuilding - ASA's are a singular sport.

Some dudes brag about the shit. This kid I see in the gym is quick to tell anyone he meets that he is on "the juice." I fucking cannot stand when people say "the juice." No juicehead would say it like that...

I HATE this. Happens every 2-3 weeks. Fact is, if your big (and me very, very barely big believe me) this will happen alot. In fact, I am so overwhelmed with a rant here about these kind of tools . . . I think I'll just close out this post instead -- let go of my anger and all :) I usually say "They're really bad for you, kill your liver. A little muscle's not worth it. They shrivel your dick, and I like women. Isn't that how that Mazaratto guy died? All those pros are on that crap, they look like crap. Steve Reeves was the best. Try cell-tech, Ronnie uses it." Filled with this line of Wieder crap, the dumbass wanders on his way.

When they ask you what you're on just say Nitrotech and Celltech and walk away. Everyone knows you gain 25lbs in 4 weeks with that stuff!

I love it when they ask you where to get some of "those good supplements" or "super vitamins"

LOL, I got this one awhile back. Some kid walked out of the blue and asked me where I got "the good stuff".

"Is that like Hot Stuff?"

"No, you know, the GOOD stuff!"

I couldn't believe this idiot even said that, let alone used those words.

I told the guy to go to see my friend over at the GNC that's nearby. I don't know the guy at GNC, except for that he's a hotheaded prick. I really wonder if he went in and asked. Would've been a kodak moment.

Walk away and turn up your head phones... That is a taboo topic in open company as far as I'm concerned.
