Gun owners post up

I'm a college student, the only gun I have is a cheap 380, but it is good enough. It is too damn bulky though. When I get a real job I'll buy a better gun and perhaps a North american arms .22. If/when I finally get a CCW that'd be an easy gun to carry. That or a small semi auto 25.

If I had the money I'd buy a mossberg shotgun with a pistol grip, forend grip & retractable stock. Something like this.

Not that I'd need it but it would be cool. I'm an amateur at best with guns but I still like them. I'd see no need for a rifle anytime soon.

made from scratch 30-06 (worth like 10k)

s&w Model 929

cheap single shot 12 guage

glocks are good, relieable imo however they dont have a true safety,or mine dont, and I dont care for that.

I disagree.....Glocks have a magazine load second to none but you cant pick off a burglar who running away with any kind of acuracy.....

The SIG is a better choice, or the good old fashioned 357 revolver

A shotgun would definately have the biggest impact on an intruder. Especially a pump. You pump that thing and the robber would probably soil themselves and run. Of course then you cant shoot them.

ok, a glock 19 for 'home protection'? try plinking.

go 45 or go home.

secondly, if you want a nice shotgun, go with the benelli m4. there is no better, nor sweeter, out there.

and a 22 isn't good for much else than plinking cans.

Remington Model 870 12 guage

Remington Model 32 16 guage

Remington Model 504 .22

shotgun is the best for home defense. hear the shotgun rack, 100% chance the burglars is outta there... point and shoot, you're bound to hit the burglar. then finish him off w/the G19 or G17. Double tap to the chest should do the trick

You'd probably have to modify a regular short barrel shotgun with accessories.

Some models come that way. Take for example my Franchi PA3, it has a 9.5" barrel, top folding stock and two pistol grip all stock.

I have a gun for every occasion!!!!

Beretta 92FC
Keltec 9mm
Mosberg 500 Riot

AK47 (Norinko) Black Zytel stock and foregrip
POS .22 Auto (Forgot brand)
Single shot 12 gauge
410 Single shot H.D. Black zytel stock .. Little gun.. Home defender for the wife.

I am Ex Military and will always consider myself a soldier so any of the high-end guns like the Beretta and AK have full combat loads.. IE For my AK I have 7, 30 round mags and a 75 round drum. Primary pistol I have 5 mags… I won’t talk about how many rounds of ammo I have!!! Anything over 1000 in my state you have an arsenal and have to register…

Charles Daly 12g over/under

.410, 12g pump, 20g pump, .270, 20g single shot, and a Marlin Lever action .22.

Looking to buy a Springfield XD-45 Tactical and a Rock River Arms M4 soon as well.

But Jarhead can always give me his Les Baer. Hey I only want one of them. I am not greedy.

Yep….. Its crazy… Years ago when they were banning the assault rifles and everything associated with them I got a deal on the Chinese surplus 7.62 X 39… $100 per case (2 sealed sardine type cans in a wood box)… I got 5 of them. Same thing when they were pulling the Black Talon rounds… I think I have 12-15 boxes of that..

where do you live ? Cali ?

I have a few.

For pistols I have a .357 2", .38 Super Auto Colt Gov't 1911, Sig Mosquito .22.

Rifles: several .22's, Mini-14 in .223, .22-250, .257 Roberts, .25-06, .30-30, .308 Win, .30-06, 7mm Rem Mag, .338 Win Mag

Shotguns: Rem 870, Benelli Nova, Mossberg

and a Knight muzzleloader.

For defensive purposes inside a home a pump shotgun is nearly perfect. Just racking the slide will scare most intruders away! For defensive pistols, simple is better! Glock's or revolvers and LOTS of PRACTICE!
