Do you have the 350?
I have an older garmin and i've always liked it, but I can't update it and its just time to get a new one.

The TOMTOM does, but maybe the garmin does too. the garmin is also a mp3 player and a digital picture viewer. which seems like a great feature when you're driving. ??

LMAO!!!!! Yeah no kidding! Cuz I'd wanna listen to mp3's from some tinny ass little speakers over my radio, and yeah...looking at pictures while driving!!!!

if i really want to listen to my mp3's, i'll just listen to them on my zen. or plug it into my stereo. or... i'll listen to my sattelite radio.

I have a tom tom and my girl has a garmin. I have used both, and prefer the garmin

Word of warning though(at least with my model)...the unit is updatable...and you get the newest maps they have to offer if you register and update it within a month...BUT and here's the rub....IT DOES NOT COME WITH A CABLE TO CONNECT IT TO YOUR COMPUTER!!
The upside is that if you have digital camera the cable that came with it should work with the GPS.

i have a garmin. . .it works great. . .very accurate. . .in fact the mph readout is more accurate than the speedo in the old sexterra. . .
well for one thing- i have gotten lost coming home from work. i don't know how it happens, but it does.
2. I haven't lived in this state very long in the scheme of things, so if i deviate from my normal route, I'm lost.
3. I live in the mountains. I can't see what's ahead of me and everything looks the same: cows and cornfields.
4. I'm always picking up one kid or another and taking them to a friends house.

no matter where you are. . .even if you've never been there before in your life. . .if you need gas, food, some place to sleep, some place to take a squirt, a detour around a section of highway that's been closed by an accident, etc. . .the answer to your question(s) is only a couple of touchscreens away. . .these things rock. . .

YES. I forgot, sometimes if i'm some place different and I want to find a restaurant, it'll tell me where to go.
OH, and when i'm at my office and I need to get to an appointment, it helps, since then i'm in a totally new area.
