got me a new garbage can....

Last night was garbage night, and I didn't put any out...however, there was one of those HUGE recycling cans sitting out in front of my house today. I figured it was someone elses, so I left it alone, thinking it's rightful owner would pick it up.

Well, I just went to get me a Slurpee, and noticed that the can had been delivered by the City for certain kinds of garbage...fucking thing came with an instuction booklet taped to the top of it, explaining exactly what kind of recycleables I am allowed to put in in, and what the pick up days are.

I gotta fucking sort out my TRASH now?

I guess it's a good thing....but for fuck sakes...I gotta sort my TRASH?

Apparently not...there is nothing in the instruction booklet that says I have to pay for anything.

My guess is that the City Taxes will go up.....again....

Here if you want to recycle you have to pay extra on top of what you already pay.....and they don't recycle the stuff anyway!!

I have one from the city that is for plastic only and certain numbers only too. Makes it easier. I am not filling up my garbage can with plastic containers anymore

And on top of that...I have to do more work by 'SORTING OUT' my TRASH!!

We have recycling here but I don't do it. I don't have the space for another receptacle in my kitchen and I don't want fluids from cans and bottles getting all sticky in it. RIGHT in the garbage.

I got on late this evening, spent a couple hours in Ozark today.

alabama interstates are a true autobahn
not enough coin to employ state troopers to canvass much beyond the cities
not too much traffic
my two recent high speed stops were freak occurences by detectives in unmarked cars
upside being if you're cool with officer's far beyond "traffic cop" heirarchy you can get the breaks to go your way

I zipped up US331 from Florala to Opp, then across US84 to Enterprise, AL27 up behind Ft. Rucker into Ozark, averaged 80MPH the whole way, didn't see a single cop.

I recycle definitely, cans and all too mostly heh 2 weeks worth of my family going through sodas i get money, pocket change but all good.

Without recycling period, we'd live on top of garbage.
