Good mass

Hi folks Ive got a recuring injury in my neck, Its back again and I want to do something about it. I normally pyramid down, 10, 8, 6,2or3 reps. I think its the 2 or 3 reps that agravates it if I let my form slip. I was thinking of making my minimum number of reps 6 on any exercise. Will I still put on decent mass?

is from a specific movement or all exercises that trigger it?

Its normally behind the neck press that starts to iritate it, Im fine until I up the weight and go for 2 or 3 reps. Then for the rest of the shoulder workout I am ok. Afterwords I know Ive done something but Its no problem, It just feels stiff. I do legs the next day and when I come to do my chest the day after if I go heavy and low reps on flat bench whatever Ive done on the shoulder workout gets 10 times worse and its painfull to move my head in any direction for a day. I think the problem movement is the BNP but am not keen on dropping it because I think its a good exercise for building size on your shoulders. I think whats happening is that when Im pushing realy hard my head is straining forward and I pull something. Could I replace it with front millitary press and still see the same results on my shoulders?
