I'm having the WORST cycle as far as injections go. This time (about 45 seconds ago) I was doing a delt inject and I wasn't paying attention to the syringe part but rather watching the needle. I glace at my liquid to see how much more I have left and watch as a tiny little blue "thing" gets pushed into my delt. OOPS. Could have been plastic, could have been...who really knows at this point. I am using pre-loads from a sachet, and I always check everything out 100 times over. I'll let you know when they amputate my arm.

I would be a little bit freaked out. I always quadruple check my stuff but,,, shit happens let us know if all remains good.

Whenever performing IM inj always use caution and care, pay 100% attention to all things at all times. I hope you are ok bro you should know here in 12 or so hours.

those are called bacteria sachets... are they the aroma therapy sachets? I gave mine to my wife to use in her aroma lamp the oil smells good :)

In the liquid then launched in your delt?

OMG dude. I really hope it doesn't mess you up. Your body WILL reject anything besides the gear(plastic, foil from satchet etc.) and become infected and swell. This isn't good at all.

I'd really plan on a trip to the doctor the next couple days and tell him what happened, and show him your soon-to-be swollen and infected shoulder.

I think everyone should chill a bit on this. If it was small enough to go thru the needle it must be small and probably not a huge deal.

Infection? Only if bacteria was on it.

Your body will hopefully break it down eventually and you'll probably never knew it was there. Even if it doesn't break down your body will deal with it.

People get intentional implants of all sorts all the time. Silicone, metal, plastic, you name it. Screws, staples, joints, all kinds of things are inserted into the body.

This is likely no big deal and no need to freak out or lose any sleep over it.

Did you pre-load them yourself or buy them like that? I'd suggest either filtering your oils from the satchets or just get some pharm grade stuff and not worry about injecting any "floaties".:)

lmao...was thinking exact same thing.

Tust me I'd be laughing my ass off too if it weren't my body! This is my 4th cycle, and boy, all the lessons of possible things to go wrong are happening to me on this one. I guess everyone has one like this from time to time. Seriously though, I'll let you know whats up with the "blue thing" here in a day or so. Everyone please learn from me being an idiot. I don't care if this is cycle number 1,000 for you. "Blue Things" can happen to anyone.

i have a friend who still has a 1" needle in his delt

from 5 years ago

That is from surgery where a surgeon puts it in your body and even then people can reject the material.

Did you draw from the satchet or from a vial you transfered it into? It sounds like you got a peice of the rubber stopper....

i can see this being a serious issue, he might want to hey this looked at

lmao again! Come on bro, please stop. Having a syringe stuck in your delt is "normal". It's sorta like having a shampoo bottle stuck in your ass. No one sees it but it still sucks.

Soooooo......how long you had that shampoo bottle stuck in your ass????

Are you shooting w/ 16 guage harpoons? Fuck.

If you're lucky, maybe it was just a large bacteria colony that looked blue. Not plastic.

Good luck man - keep us posted.

UPDATE: This morning it is pretty darn sore, but not excruciating. Hard to move but not immobile. Its not red, not hot and just a little swollen. How long before I know if there is a real problem that is going on?

gets hot ur screwed, until then just wait...this thing must have been tiny though to make it thru the needle? maybe was a part of the steroid that fell out of suspension and crashed?

If its going to become an infection it should start to set in pretty quick. You'll obviously notice the pain, but the next important thing to watch for is if the skin starts to turn red and begins to be hot to the touch. Now this does not always mean infection, but is a very good sign there is something developing. I've had an inflamed nerve that causes a large red blotch on my leg once. If you start getting redness in the skin take a permenant marker and outline it and watch to see if it starts to get larger and larger. Also a good thing to get is a digital thermometer and temp the skin around your arm that is not red and the parts that are just to see if its actually warmer than the surrounding area. You know how your mind can play tricks on you and if its red your gonna think automatically that its warmer in that area.

Just keep a close eye on it as I am sure you are.

I would believe a dull piece of medal but a sharp needle for 5 years? that's hard to believe.

I work at a vet and we x-rayed a dog one time that had a needle in it's liver. It had swollowed it who knows how long ago and migrated to the liver and has just been sitting there since. It wasn't causing any problems and it would cause more harm to go digging through the liver to remove it so the doctors decided to leave it.

I say a thing on TV where a carpenter was complaining of head aches. They took an xray of his head. He had an 8 penny nail in his brain. He F-upped with a nail gun sometime in the past and put one right into his head right past his eyeball through the socket. He walked into the place for the xray and wlaked out again.

Saw another thing on tv where a kid fell off his bike onto an aerator spike behind a tractor. The spike went in the same way, right next to the eyeball, went through the kids brain and broke the back of the kids skull, clearly shown on the xray. He just pulled his head off the spike. They asked him what it felt like. He said "It was like walking up from a dream."

Ok....so you're saying this guy shot his eyeball with a nail gun and didn't realize it until much later when he was starting to get "headaches????" *cough*bullshit*cough*

I saw the first one that you're speaking of! That was fucking insane!!!!

The second one I havn't seen, but wouldn't doubt it at all.

I've also seen a show where this guy was stabbed in the head with like an 8in knife and survived just fine! He was fuckin walking around with this huge knife handle sticking out of his head lol.

Not red, not hot, just a bit swollen and tender. Sort of like the love we make. I guess I'll stop bumping this and we can focus our attention on other threads. I feel pretty lucky actually.

+1

This is good advice.

I'm interested in knowing wtf is going on with you. Keep me posted bro.

Sorry, I forgot to check back and update. Whatever the blue floater was, it did not get infected. I am one lucky guy and have learned a valuable lesson. Several actually. thanks for all your help and concern. I'm actually glad that I can sometimes serve as an example of what NOT to do haha.

Could it be that you were in a vein and you aspirated and wasn't paying attention and you saw de-oxygenated blood? I realize it isn't blue, but a darker red...but is it possible?
