Good cutting diet???

K guys, I've been searching ad nauseam and can not find a single post explaining the ratios for a "perfect" cutting diet... (the "cutting" equivalent of Mr. X's bulking article).

So here's my case: 190lbs, 12%bf, hitting test(500)/eq(500)/anavar(40)/winny(50) cycle, want to CUT to get below those impossible 9%.

I'm THINKING 350 pro, 250 carbs, 60 fat... what's the official formula?

Thx guys, appreciate quick help cuz I wanna customize my proteinfactory formula this wk.

Thx!!!

I don't think there is an "official formula" you have to know your body and work with it. there are guild lines to help get you started but you have to play with it.

And those guidelines would be...?

350protein + 100carb + 60fat = 2340 kcal or so... actually seems to make sense, though a bit low... what do others think?

Thx.

With all the drugs you are doing, you could cut cals more. I mixing 3 weeks of CKD and 1 week of high protein/no fat/no carbs. I am finishing the high protein week now and will start another three weeks on a CKD. I have cut my BF from 15% to 10% and I weigh almost exactly the same, 2 pounds lighter. You'll have to experiment to find what works best for you.

thx nutz... more opinions? (there's GOT to be an official formula I can use as a base... and I agree, from that base I can start experimenting - but I need a starting point)

dunno about the official formual but I went from 27 % to 9 % body fat doing this

meal 1 - 3 scoops designer whey protein + 1 sandwich ( 2 slices of whole wheat bread + 2 slices fat free cottage cheese

meal 2 - 1 potatoe + 1 chicken breast + 1 1/2 carrot

meal 3 - 3 scoops designer whey protein + 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil

meal 4 - myoplex plus deluxe

meal 5 - same as meal 2

meal 6 - 3 scoops designer whey protein + 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil

Daman, there is a special formula...

In my opinion anyway. This has never failed me or any of my clients and friends

Carbs 30%
Protein 50%
Fat 20%

You are eating roughly 2900 cals:

215g of carbs (clean of course)
365g of protein
65g of fat (Mostly Unsaturated, NO TRANS FATS AT ALL)

Btw, I think it's too many calories if you want to get below 10-12% BF.

Thx Andy - do you mean MY formula is too much or yours? I did some research and I'm actually pretty close to yours (but a bit less fat)...

Btw, just looked over your cycle again and something doesn't make sense. How do you plan on getting under 9% BF? Increasing your LBM a little and losing a little BF?

If I were in your position, I would rely completely on the diet, use a fraction of the gear you plan on using a strictly for maintenance, and then do another cycle to add LBM followed by a clen post cycle to shed those couple of lbs of fat you may have gained.

Not telling you how the live your life, just a suggestion. :)

I think you should lean towards cutting carbs and keep protein high and fat constant.

I don't think Fat should be one category, certain fats like Flaxseed and olive oil can actually make you leaner while other fats like trans fatty acids will make you a tub of Lard in no time.

Well, milk should be restricted(I would say eliminated, but dairy is important in a diet and a lack of calcium will prevent fat-loss).

Milk has saturated fat which is bad but acceptable in small amounts. The real evil is transfat(Fat in processed cookies for example). On a sidenote, Snackwell cookies are deceptive. They may be low fat, but that fat is mostly Transfat. They also have large amounts of sugar. They may be worse for you then some regular cookies.

Anything that says Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil should be avoided like the plague. You would be suprised in how many products you'll find this trash. Stick with natural foods.

Good luck Daman, and keep me updated.
