Gonna have Androgel prescribed for HRT...is it worth it?

Doc tells me that once my bloodwork comes back(and i have naturally low t production) he will prescribe me Androgel. I think he mentioned an option for injections, which I would prefer. BUT if Andro is my only option is it worth anything?? I heard you shoudk apply it to inner thigh with saran wrap for better absorption...any comment?

Androgel is adequate for MAINTENANCE PURPOSES. You will "feel" better, but that's about it. I wouldn't build a size/strength cycle around it. One thing for sure: if you ever decide to do a proper size/strength cycle, you WILL NOT need to do a recovery cycle--low dose, daily Testosterone will suffice to keep gains.

DR - Any feedback on Testrim, a replacment for Androgel. I just got 2 months worth at 50mg a day, not bad. What do you think as far as making gains...Cost me $45 for 2 months supply

Guys, I had to chime in here about Testim.
I know this product extensively. I can't say how I know this, but some of you smart brothers may be able to put 2 and 2 together. All of you that get Androgel, demand Testim from now on. It is a new product with 30% better absorbtion. Meaning, you will get 30% higher levels. While the other guys are right, this isn't necessarily enought to put you in a tremendous anabolic state, it is much better than Androgel. Plus, it's cheaper.

If I were you I'd discuss Depo-Testosterone or Delatestryl with your doc...but that's just me. Some people love sloppy gel and slapping patches on their balls.
